Hello!

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there is really something wrong.

I can't locate Awakening, either in the installation folder nor anywhere else. Could it be possible to install only DA:O with the Ultimate Edition? I'm pretty sure I ran only one installer from the EADM.

What should I do?

DA:A is not a seperate game.  It's found under "Other Campaigns" on the main menu.

The files for it are found under "/[Program Files]/Dragon Age/AddIns", in the "/dao_prc_ep_1" folder.
(Stands for "Dragon Age Origins Premium Content Expansion Pack 1", if you care.)

Happy Awakening! ;)

Yea I suspected as much, but it doesn't show under "Other Campaigns" as it should.

What's weird is that the folder you mentioned is in the right place and the files are all inside it.. I think I'll reinstall and see if it gets back to normal.

Did you redeem your DLC code for Ultimate Edition? This is needed to activate Awakening, even though it is technically an expansion pack.

Further check to make sure your UE CD key shows up properly in the Windows registry. There is a known issue with this not happening when using EADM (there is a beta fix available until EADM itself is updated). On the launcher screen for the game, go to Configure > Game. If you do not see the CD key listed, PM me and I can get you set up to download the beta fix.

Finally, if you had a previous version of Dragon Age, it may not have uninstalled correctly. This can cause several issues, including the disappearance of Awakening. See the Solutions Roundup (linked below in my sig) for fixes.

Also, once the game is installed, I recommend you reboot before launching.

Thanks for the help Thandal and Raen.

I reinstalled the game and it worked. Now it appears under the Other campaigns as it should.

Now I'm having problems with Non-Authorized DLCs. I'll search the forums for something since it seems to be a rather common problem people with the UE.

There's a new patch (1.05) which is being worked on right now that will address this.   In the meantime, you can consult the posts stickied to the top of the forum.  The Solutions Roundup is also linked in my signature, below.

Most like the DAserviceupdater.exe is not running in the background.  You may also experience a problem with EADM, where the CD key is placed in the wrong part of the registry.  To check the latter issue, see my response above.  PM me if you need to the beta hotfix for EADM users.

Best,

RI
