All the stickind guides seem to be for Hawke, so was wondering if anyone had any good builds/tactics for Isabela (DW) and Aveline (SnS)?

Also, as im on PC i like to make Merril my healer, giving her creation and SH, so should i just follow the Hawke SH guides or can someone suggest something better for a SH companion?

the creation tree is really all you should need, you can just follow my or suicidalbaby's guide for anders on what to do there

i'm making an isabela build to compliment post-patch dw hawke right now, will post if it goes well

ok those look good...3 questions though:

1) Why do you respec Izzy before the deep roads? why not just spec that way from the start?

2) why use the 'use current condition for next tactic' tactics, eg for Izzy, tactics 2 & 3, why not just have 'being attacked by melee = use Back to Back'? Ive seen this on alot of builds and im not sure why you use them

3) why do all the warrior builds leave Second Wind until last...is this not as useful as i thought it was? I use it all the time on my Hawke warriors

It has to do with the prerequisites for Twin Fangs, Explosive Strike's upgrade and the number of ability points spent in the tree. It buys you 1 point to use elsewhere for the next 10 levels as the upgrade to Backstab is worth less than what you get instead.

Specificly because Aveline is not Hawke. The Second Wind branch is for stamina demanding builds or builds with a need for reduced cooldowns. Such as Arelex's DW guide with Rally as a centerpiece to increasing damage by sharing an upgraded Might. The build in question does not fit those criteria. Bolster is more than enough stamina for just about any build anyway. You can always pick it up with an elixir or in place of another ability if you really want it. I just dont see it as a requirement.

ok, last questions...for now...(and i really appreciate your help)

If i give Isabela Archery and Royal Archer...will she be as good as Seb/Varric with the same tactics?

Is there anything innate to a character that makes it better with certain skills...could i turn Varric into a healer by giving him all the skills and tactics?

so basically, its when you want more than one condition met for an action to happen...correct?

B2B requires a condition so it knows when to trigger. It also requires a target so it knows who you want the rogue to use the ability on. uccfnt allows both those requirements to be met.

Im on ps3 and have no clue how to answer the skill altering questions.
