Sweet, i'm gonna star over entirely now. It's been long enough and my frustration camled down a while ago. Might as well start fresh and be happy :). Plus E3 is next week, more reason to be happy :).

I played a bit of DA2 early this morning with the new patch. I have to say, combat feels a lot more natural and gratifying.

Does this (or one of the other changes) mean that the thumbs up glitch is now retroactively fixed fixed?

Bit odd to answer your own question but having just tried it out it seems that the issue is fixed for me now.

Though nerfing warrior... really?

I checked my old warrior save and Sebastion's negative damage resistance was gone. Tried the high dragon fight again and he seemed a bit quicker but the damage dealt is pathetic even on Normal. Berserker still suffers from using too much stamina and I'm not seeing it replaced as I kill off the little dragons.

Berserker requires a little more planning to pull off effectively than some other specs. Try having decent willpower and also have a warrior teammate use upgraded Rally whenever it is up and you probably won't have issues with stamina.

Booted up a save game from a playthrough where I imported from an Origins > Awakening > Golems > Witch Hunt save file and the Leliana romance flag is fixed.

Same reason rune of valiance went from +5-7 to +2 to all attributes.

It was the right move. Merrill and Blood Mage Hawke were incredibly overpowered.

ok rune of valiance being lowered makes sense but the blood mage is supposed to be more powerful than a mage who only uses mana.. with that ratio theres no point in using blood mage

I agree, the blood mage got nerfed. They should not have brought it down that much. Neither should have warrior, which was the weakest class. And the awakenings problem isn't fixed yet.

1. Does Jeven drop Aveline's fourth upgrade even though players have ventured into darktown?
2. Is the slowdown bug fixed retroactively?

exactly if any class was overpowered compared to the others it was the rogue especially the archer, they have the strongest weapon in the game

Goddamn it, thanks for the reply at least, but Bioware really need to sort out import problems and major bugs first before tinkering with the class abilities and such.

People, they can't fix Awakening problems in a DAII patch. I seriously doubt they're going to go back and patch Awakening.

I know about the boon, which won't be fixed because it's a problem with Origins, not DAII.

What DLC descisions are you talking about?

Couldn't BioWare have reduced the number of spiders in the game with the patch? :P I kid, but I really don't like spiders!

Still no fix for Fool's Rush In? The fix would be the exact same as another quest they fixed.

I don't think it would be too hard to give us a menu to sort through plot flags on the xbox 360. It would increase the replayability and fix the problems with import. It's probably the easiest fix, but I don't know much programming so I could be wrong.

It's not about patching Awakening for most of them, what they need to do is fix the flags for an upgraded keep being able to stand on it's own whilst you save Amaranthine. I refuse to believe Bioware isn't going to fix an important import into the game.

I tried reloading my save towards the end of the game and collecting the last ingredient again to obtain 66 items, but no dice on the supplier achievement. Does this require me to start a new game and play through again?

What you just described is an issue with Awakening.  It's Awakening that isn't recognizing an upgraded keep, not DAII.
