This has happened a number of times now, it seems everytime I complete the golems of amgarrak DLC my Xbox freezes right as its about to load the credits.
The first time I completed it on nomal and the achievement for beating the last boss appeared so I skipped the final scene to go to credits and just got stuck with a half faded screen. So I switched the xbox of and on again.
I played again ( this time on casual just to get through the boss quickly and to see if it happens again) and it still decided to freeze again this time just before it made the sound as if it was saving data before the credits. ( but no save data after the fight has been made)
Anybody know why its doing this and if it actually saves an extra save like when you complete the main game so I can transfer it to DA: Awakening?

Hm...I'll work backwards.
Not entirely sure about your last question. To me it seems you are asking to some extent whether you can transfer a save from Golems to Awakening; in which case the answer is 'no'. Chronological order is Origins, Awakening, Golems and then Witch Hunt (order of release). It isn't possible to transfer a save game from a later module into an earlier module.
Also, as I understand it Golems does not have that 'final save' like in Origins and Witch Hunt. (Given the kerfuffles with the import feature into DA2 though it looks like Golems and Awakening are supposed to have those saves but were overlooked.) With a bit of luck hopefully we will see one final patch of sorts for DA: O to rectify this for the import feature.
As for the freezing...after many enquiries to those I have tried to aid there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer as to why it occurs. That it occurs consistently at one particular point of a game would suggest it is something to do with that.
If it's not too much hassle I would suggest beating the Harvester again and see if the credits roll normally (it could just be one of those things). If it still freezes then one suggestion is to redownload the dlc (perhaps the download is corrupted or something to that effect).

Thank you, I'll play it again to see if it does happen one last time.
I just assumed that you could transfer data because like with witch hunt it says you can get added items in awkening and origins, not really sure what they mean by that but I'll check the DLC again to see the exact wording.( just incase I read it wrong)
Edit: Ok this time I have played again and decided to see if collecting all the golems notes would help, I got the achievement for collecting them and did the boss again.
This time it didn't freeze but I don't know if that is bacuse I collected all the notes or that the game just decided not to freeze this time.
Hope this helps if it happens to anyone else.

There is no post-campaign save for Awakenings or GoA, only WH (and that was added later). If you want to move a character from either of the others into a different DLC, you can take your last save or autosave.

Ah...I see Sarien. The unlocking of certain achievements to gain some dlc bonus weapons are independent of the save games. Once you've unlocked the weapons by fulfilling whatever criteria they are automatically (or should be) added to other eligible modules. You do not need to transfer anything yourself; the game does it for you.
And...glad to hear that it didn't freeze on you this time.

Have you installed to the hard drive? What other things about your system can you tell us about?
Worst case scenario is that if you've installed to the hard drive and you keep getting these types of messages (though I confess yours is the first I have personally come across on here), then it could be an HD problem.
It could be a faulty disc, as I understand it there is a problem with the second disc of the Ultimate Edition with a certain batch.

Hi..sorry i forgot to mention one thing.when i install the game on HD,i cant even play DAO !!the same error haunted me.I had to delete the game in order to play the DOA & Dark spawn chronicles.I have XBOX 360 with 120gb HDD.i never connect on Live.so any possiblty of getting a virus (if any) is remote.I did replace the game with both the discs from the store, the error remains the same !!

A virus should not be a concern. My concern was with a physical HD problem; if that's the case then there is pretty much only one 'solution' for that: get another HD.
From what you wrote you're stating that you can't play from HD, and you can't play from disc either? That you get the same error message from both sources? (Also tempted to think that the disc drive might be a factor.)
Do you get a similar error message with any other game? (Trying to eliminate the possibility of a hardware problem.)
EDIT: is the error message you've stated in your first post correct? I can't find anything like that on Microsoft's knowledge database.

The thing is if it is an HD problem, like a bad sector for example, then it could just be that part of the HD that is problematic. And if the game continuously installs over that part of the HD, then the same problem occurs time and time again. There are some obvious things to try like uninstalling another game and DAO and reinstall DAO with the hope it gets written to another part of the HD which doesn't have a bad sector. All speculative of course.
Question: where can you get to if you play off the disc? Can you get further? Does Awakening start? (It could be a disc problem again. If the disc is faulty then it might not install correctly, hence the problems.)
EDIT: have purposefully ignored your other post as we are dealing with it here.

Ah i see.i thought probably some one else give their point of views regarding the freezing problem.
I dont have any game installed on my HD.i have more than 100Gb free space.i normally run from dics. Its worth a try if i can delete any save games etc for free space.well as i said i get to play the games in my previous posts as to how far i progress.(complete) means i was lucky to finish that part of game.i tried "n" no. of times hoping to break through the game but no success.awakening, lillians song, doesnt start at all.below is the error that i get word perfect !!
Error -" unable to access required downloadbale content stored on xbox storage device.the game will now restart.any unsaved progress will be lost."

I would say that yours is not a freezing problem; with those you just have to switch off and boot up again and carry on (at least in my experience). Yours is more specific to the system not finding the required data in order to continue.
If your previous post indicates where you can get to on the disc, and the place where the error message occurs is consistent (as it appears to be as you indicated) then I have to admit I am inclined to think that it is a disc problem.
I used the error message to do a quick check and nothing really seems to be brought up. I highly doubt that the problem is unique, but surprised there is nothing on it (apparently). Even the XBox support pages turn up nothing; very strange.
There are of course the official support lines for EA and Microsoft, though I would suggest EA first as it seems to be a game problem.

Yes.its is very consistent in terms of getting stuck in the game.well freezing of the game did happen once or twice during dark spawn chronicles(cut scenes),fighting squences etc.i had to restart the console & reload the game.which was managable.there are few other instances but by main worry still remains the error i mentioned.
i got my disc replaced twice already.though i must admit the first game,i didnt get to play anything except DAO.second time it was DarkSC.& this time Golems. The error remained the same.i was wondering what it could.since it was my first time with these kinda issues & didnt know proper channed to address.
so could you please suggest what i can do,except for trying to replace the game.i must admit though at this stage i have been to almost all the stores in the city & they dont have enough Ultimate Edt. of Dragon Age !!! :-)

If the disc itself is faulty, I don't think there's a way around it; I know that isn't what you want to hear (and after exchanging it a couple of times I can see why you're reluctant to). You've tried installing to HD and that can mitigate certain reading errors, but that hasn't helped in your case.
In the UK EA operate a disc replacement service if it is still under warranty (90 days if memory serves). It might be worth checking to see if that option is available to you, and if it is hopefully the disc actually works.
The other possibility means spending more money, and is by no means ideal: by the original releases of DAO and Awakening, and use points to buy the dlc on XBox Live. Of course, you would have returned your Ultimate Edition by then.
