All the DLC content that comes with DAO Ultimate shows as being Unauthorized. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, start and stop the DAO updater service, contacted EA (was told the content was manually added to my registered game content).

Thank you. There's so much of this information floating around I got tired of looking. I was working at his for 2days. I wonder if EA will credit my account and let me pay the difference for the console version. . .

If my experience is anything to go buy, they won't. Maybe things have changed and you'll encounter a better EA CS-rep than I did. Both times. Good luck!

@ChuckDC ... there are two issues which may be affecting you.
The first is a problem specific to EADM... where it does not properly install the game's CD key in the proper Windows Registry location. To check, on the launcher screen, select Configure > Game and see if the CD key shows up on that screen. If not, there is a beta fix, which you can get by joining the DAO Beta Test Group. Send me a personal message if you're interested and we can start the process of getting you signed up.
Second, the DAUpdater service might not be running properly in the background. To check, reboot your computer. When that's done, launch the game and sit on the lobby screen (the one with the sword in the ground).
1) Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, launch the Task Manager, and go to the "Process" tab
2) Look for a process called DAupdatersvc.service.exe
If it is there, then there is something else wrong. Consult this link:

You guys are great!!!! The beta fix worked perfectly. I knew my updater wasn't running, but I wasn't sure why. Thanks again. This game is awesome, I'm almost in a rush to finish DAO Ultimate, so I can get into DA2.
