The loot system sounds good. Hopefully less chance of picking up lots of low level junk all the time.
Sounds good what I really like and think is great are how zones will level the enemies up. I hate that about Skyrim reuturning to a area like Riverwood and everything I see was at a low level in KoA they will level up to the highest possible level for the zone. It probably won't do anything when I'm a much higher level but still nice.
I find that sort of amusing in a way. In oblivion one of the most hated things was that bad guys scaled with your level. So for Skyrim Bethseda used a combination of static and scaled leveled monsters but people seem to hate that too. Seems like one of those impossible to please everyone kinda situations.

All those articles show that it could be one of the best RPGs to come out next year. I'm still pysched for Dragons Dogma as well, though, but the combat in Kingdoms looks pretty original.
I'm far more interested in Dragon's Dogma, as the art style and combat don't seem so over the top like they do in Amalur. Plus I don't see all the QTE's. Capcom has made the claim it will last 30-100 hrs. It also has excellent graphics thanks to the MT engine. The second link has some blue humor and also says it's coming to PC. YAAYY!!!

Sadly its being made by Capcom... which means half the game will be released and then they'll repackage the other half into it 6 months later and call it the directors cut.
If I sound bitter I am.

Hopefully they won't do that. They poured tons of content and love into the PC version of SSF4. My take on Capcom has always been this: they have titles they care about, and titles they pump out for money. DD seems to be the former, cause the same people responsible for DMC4 and Resident Evil are wotking on it. I think Capcom wants to make this one count. And the MT engine is impressive.

Long story short, get a petition going or flood Capcom's forums with requests to port it to PC. That would actually help me out if I am really going overseas to fight the good fight, so to speak.
Ooh, I found a thread on the official forums: http://www.capcom-un...=last#513754339

Actually, the level scaling system is similar to Skyrim's from what I have heard:

BTW, a new preview.

I don't know... it sounds a hell of a lot better than Skyrim's. Because, I've gone back to the first dungeon where you get the first word where I failed to kill the overpowered enemy on the outside. 30 Levels later from the first time and he still kicked my ass.
Under Reckoning's system, that would not have happened.

The latest Inside Reckoning is now up exclusively on Curse. Check it out to learn more about the inspiration behind Reckoning's combat, and how each Ability and combo was carefully hand-animated and designed. This one is narrated by Lead Combat Designer Joe Quadara, Animator Chris Cox, and Lead Animator Young Vo.
Don't miss the wicked combo chains at the end! Which ones are you looking forward to trying out the most?
