Hmmm....the FAQ doesn't say exactly. However, if you want the bonus items you have to use Origins while playing to get/redeem them.

And don't forget, you have to play the demo on the same platform you intend to get the items for.

Also, demo releases tomorrow for all platforms. Don't forget to download and play through the whole thing for the bonus items. I believe the armor is granted just for downloading and starting the demo, while the gun is unlocked after watching the trailer at the end of the 45 minute demo.

EDIT: I just looked at the FAQ again and this very question is answered:

What platforms is the demo available on?

The Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo is available on PlayStation Network (PS3 download), PC (Origin download), XBOX Live (360 download).

Although, Origin download could mean either the client or on the Origin website.

If it's gonna be Origin exclusive i'm gonna rage... The reason i'm saying it's similar to Skyrim is because the sagecraft, blacksmithing, lockpicking, pickpocket and even sneaking looks exactly alike!.

Kinda bored with Skyrim as the combat and skills are shallow for me.

Gamers who play through the Reckoning demo – which will be available for download on PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE, and Origin on Tuesday, January 17 – will discover a treasure trove of bonus content in the demo's hour and a half of play, including three in-game items that can be used in the full version of Reckoning and two in-game items to play with in Mass Effect 3.

Bonuses for Reckoning include a Twist of Fate Card and the Twinned Souls Chakram, as well as the Infernal Helm. Players can unlock the first two items by installing the demo, then complete it to claim the helm.

Do share your experience once you played the demo. Have you heard of Darksiders 2? I rate it to be on par with TL2 and D3 though

I've played the first Darksiders, though I wasn't sure I'd like it. But turns out I liked it a lot.

I hope the demo comes out early rather than later. 24 more hours or so...

Well i'm not telling the future am just saying my respect for the title which is on par with D3 and TL2. It's an underrated title for the first Darksiders. Now with loot and RPG system am hoping the game could be at least 50-60hours.

Please share your experience once you tried Amalur demo.. Saw some screenshots the game looks really nice but on some game videos the graphics looks really bad. I don't think it may be comparable to Skyrim but at least not look half as bad.

Depends, I live in EST so normally we see releases between 9 AM and 1 PM in this time zone for things like this.

Do you know if it supposed to be one of those "streaming demos" like they have up on Origin for Sims and Crysis 2 in the "Free Games" section?
