Do I get those Bonusses on Steam too?
Is it even worth? Probably just some crap people need for the start only.
FATE-TOUCHED WEAPONS PACK BONUS FOR PRE-ORDERS
Come to Battle prepared, with the fate-touched weapons pack. Nine weapons touched by fate’s hand, give players an edge from the start:
• 1 x Longbow
• 1 x Hammer
• 1 x Staff
• 1 x Faeblade Pair
• 1 x Sceptre
• 1 x Dagger Pair
• 1 x Chakram Pair
• 1 x Longsword
• 1 x Greatsword

I have a great PC but have preordered on the 360. My reasons:
1. I was happy with how the demo looked and played on the 360.
2. The requirements for the PC are pretty low so I'm not sure how much improvement there will really be.
3. DRM is killing PC preorders for me. The fact that I can't resale really hurts.

I do not know whether the merchant/loot system in the actual game would match the demo, but I found that it is quite difficult to get the Tier 2 weapons (Greatsword, Faeblades, Chakrams) early on; all my Shadowcaster demo runs have to go for the Faeblades of Song as their first faeblades. Hence the Fate-touched weapons pack does have a use in giving a char guaranteed early access to those weapons.
Replayed a Shadowcaster demo run again, this round with a little time to play around with the Faeblades of Song. Only now have I experimented with the charged-up attack for Faeblades, which, at max charge, had my Shadowcaster barreling into an enemy in a whirl of spinning blades. Seems better than Daggers' equivalent.
Now the only question I have about my initial Shadowcaster build is whether to specialise in Bow or Sceptre for my secondary ranged weapon; Sceptres seem to deal damage better/faster but also drain mana, which I normally want to hold in reserve for spellcasting ...
Finished my ME2 femShep final run with all story DLCs for ME3 (that leaves my Sheploo run), so I can concentrate on KoA for much of the next 4 weeks or so.

LPPrince, my fellow Shadowcaster, you mapped out your build yet?
I have not in fact mapped out a build specifically yet.
I tinkered around in that one calculator thing that was posted earlier(with all the abilities), but I don't have what I chose memorized or anything.
Plus, I realized that in order to get the abilities I really want, I have to waste points on things I'll never use. BUMMER.
But, I'll live.

I hate the over stylised combat.
I hate the stereotypical Elf like races.

Not a bad calculator all things considered.
Though I do like how the first area you explore introduced all the factions in the demo.
I wonder if you can join all three at once.

1) Faeblades / Bow as weapons, with active weapon abilities buffed to gather Fate for Reckoning mode.
2) Envenomed Edge sustained for Poison Damage on weapons
3) Enduring Agony passive to boost Poison / Bleed damage from weapons.
4) All 3 basic elemental attack spells, plus passive buffs.
5) Sphere of Protection sustained, plus Retribution buff
6) Healing Surge, just in case.
The only point I considered "wasted" would be that one in Shadow Flare as a Prerequisite to Enduring Agony
It is not a complete build as in the points are not quite there for the final Shadowcaster Destiny (which requires 55 in both Finess & Sorcery), the last few points are left open as I would have several paths to consider.
1) Max out weapon abilities,
2) Run with poison damage(either Smoke Bomb or Mysterious Toxin or maybe even develop Shadow Flare)
3) Invest in Faer Gorta
I just uninstalled the demo in prepartion for the actual game, but I picked up this Mage Robe (part of a set) in my last demo run. I am glad because I was beginning to wonder whether there would be any variation in armor looks (I was getting sick of the default robes).

The art style kind of reminds me of the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon a bit.
