You can sleep in it and store your goods. (BTW crafting materials and reagents dont count on inventory limit, released it a bit late ) And you can change your look in your house just with a mirror
We can buy some homefurnishing also but was so sleepy to search for furnisher.

What is a Shadowcaster? Is that like a Rogue/Mage combination? Because that's what I'm planning to make.
Shadowcaster is the highest level Destiny for the Sorcery/Finesse Destiny tree.
So if you're going to mix rogue and mage abilities like myself and many others, the Shadowcaster Destiny is the destiny you eventually want to reach.
We're just calling the class the Shadowcaster class cause we're all going to get there eventually.
In order to be a Shadowcaster, I believe you need 58 points in Finesse and 58 points in Sorcery. Just remember that.

it’s a game whose vast content and open-world design inevitably draws comparison to Skyrim and the Mass Effect series.

I don't get it.
The only comparisons I can make to Skyrim are the size of the world and basic lockpicking. That's it.
And for the Mass Effect franchise, I can't link ANYTHING together. What the hell was he on about? Rofl.
But yeah, this game's not for everyone. Sessler's kinda for it, but I can see where he's coming from.
Still, that quote. I'm confused.

Look like a very niche game . Should I purchase it? Played the demo and i enjoyed it but never heard of this RPG before.
You've never heard of it because its a new IP.
If you want to take a chance on it, go for it. If not, then don't.

BTW, I've been re-thinking my previous Shadowcaster Build, and I decide maybe I should scrap the Archery line totally because I prefer to get up close and slice and dice with Faeblades.
I would probably keep a Bow or Sceptre in my secondary weapon slot, but invest no points in relevant skills for it. Alternately, if I end up with 2 different set of Faeblades, each suited for different situations, I might equip them both
The revised build means the bulk of ranged damage would be via Sorcery. So the basic strategy against massed mobs is to expend all my initial mana in nuking the **** out of the place, activate sustains, get up close with Faeblades and make sushi of the survivors, using Finess abilities like Shadow Flare and Smoke Bomb to control the situation.
(I'm somewhat tempted to go Nightblade or even Blademaster, but I would always want a means to nuke things with spells ...)
I'll see how it goes. LPPrince, do let me know how your Shadowcaster will be shaping up.

Its open world, or at least tries to be open world, so whats so hard to understand about the Skyrim comparison? People have been drawing comparison between the 2 for months. I agree about the Mass Effect comparison though. As for his score its probably too low but his review nails the faults of the game to a tee.LPPrince wrote...

I like the game proper better than the demo but it still has most of the issues I had with the demo and Sessler articulates them well. On a positive note I finally got chakrams and goddamn after less than an hour of play they're at the top of my favorite game weapons. But they are overpowered I've had no problems with any early enemies on normal difficluty. I've got to try the faeblades as well but I haven't got them yet. Anyone know where to get them early on?

You mean you never explored the House of Ballad's questline? Unless the retail is markedly different from the demo, the Faeblades of Song are gotten quite early (Minimum Equippable Level 3).
I still haven't started because my anti-virus software locked up my PC, forcing a restart (after all the complaints about EA Origin, I half expected it to cause problems, but nope). Good thing I didn't have to reinstall from scratch, Should be rocking in a few minutes.
