Where are you finding all this sweet gear?!! I'm level 18 and I'm still using level 6 daggers. I can't for the life of me find anything godly to adorn my toon with.

It's very rare that I do get a good drop, The Shark Fins are an exception. Most of my amazing gear comes from the shops. Those two I posted are from the Rathir Merchants.
@SupidSeep
Nice, where did you get Atropos and Veshani from? Was it store bought or a random loot.

Andarthiel_Demigod,
all the gear I have been showing here are drops (unless I mentioned that I crafted them).  I spend my money on training, backpacks, lockpicks and repair kits.  Currently, Kalasin is in her early 30s, roaming the dreary lands of Klurikon (east side of Driana's Vein) and hunting Tuatha.

That's Trollskin, right?  When I have a full set of Dreadscale (currently short of boots), maybe I'll put up a pic of Kalasin with it (hood on) and see if you like it Posted Image

KoA has been put on the backburner for me since I headed back into Skyrim after Patch 1.4.

That and the ME3 hype is here, so KoA won't see the light of day for me for a long while.

Finally found the elusive Dreadscale Boots:

Full Dreadscale Armor (with matching balaclava Posted Image)

Will consider making this my endgame armor, but I've been using Sorcery extensively so I will need the mana regen too.

It looks ok but not very rogue-ish

At long last, Kalasin has reached the Destiny I have set for her:  She is now a Level 36 Shadowcaster, with 55 Finess points and 56 Sorcery points.

For the sake of powergaming, I sent her back West to finish the Travelers' quest for the Twist of Fate: Chariot +1 Finess abilties.  And promptly reset her points via a Fateweaver to take advantage of it.

So now Kalasin, has +1 Sorcery from Scholar Arcania, +1 Finess from Travelors, plus her current masterwork hexweave robe includes an Epic gem that grants +1 to all Tier 1-4 abilities.  Reworking her abiltiies to max out the points finally led me to put point in Bow as well because I had to point enough points into Finess and I rather not dump excess points into things like Innoculation. (I could have put the points into Blade Honing but I already have 55% of my mana tied up in Envenomed Edge (25%) and Sphere of Protection (30%)).

So after having points into a bow, I took the unique Bow "Sin" out for a spin in Klurikon and found that it is so much easier that when I only relied on my Faeblades and Sorcery spells (and lots of Poison Blinking all over the battlefield).  Then again, Kalasin lives to charge/blink into hordes with spinning faeblades, and *that* will never change.

Have you backstabbed a gnome? Brutally satisfying.

Part of the Travelers' questline include games involving gnomes, so this is my first first taste of backstabbing gnomes...

I pulled out a pair of unique daggers from my stash for backstabbing work in the part where I had to sneak through a gnome vault, and backstabbed a couple of gnomes before reloaded. As you said, brutally satisfying but my heart wrenches at the sight of gutting those little gnomes with daggers...  I feel so bad that I couldn't take it! I can stand facing them in open combat but not like this.

Furthermore, one of the early games I play is the pioneer stealth game Thief: The Dark Project; and one of the rules (on Expert difficulty) I am used to is:
"A true professional doesn't leave a mess. Don't kill anyone."

Reloaded, and with patience and use of Smoke Bomb in critical situations, I sneaked through the vault without been discovered, took the objective and left without confrontation.  I suppose if I care to put effort into it, I might as well steal everything of worth while I am at it, but it will take a lot of time (and reloading), plus I want to finish the questline and get back to slaughtering Tuatha (that I won't feel bad about in).

Haha you are getting soft :) I slaughtered every little gnome in that vault.
Make me felt dastardly

But yeah im normally playing like a true professional only resorting to violance when its the only way.
But for this game i made an unnecessary evil charcter :) Still having a blast:)

I finished...

... towards the end I decided to forget about looting everything I come across and simply push for the finish.  A pair of end-game weapons (prismere faeblades and ebony bow) were crafted for the last leg, but Kalasin still wore the same set of Hexweave Robes and fittings that she crafted back in Level 26.  Kalasin maxed out @ Level 40 shortly before the finale.

I spolit my game by filling out and using Longbow abilities.  Maxed out Scattershot (Tier 5) with a mastercrafted ebony bow was wasting critter hordes left and right.

No wonder people say KoA was too easy.  Back when I only used Faeblades and Sorcery abilities, only when Kalasin is "overlevelled" can I simply button mash. In even matchups, Kalasin had to work a bit to win; against multiple large opponents that can bounce her around like in Ping Pong (eg. multiple ettins/trolls/jottuns/bolgans or anything more than one Prismere Troll) she really had to dance/blink around to escape serious injury and use her varied attack abilities effectively to hinder or weaken enemies.

It was quite interesting to get some reveal on the Fateless One's story prior to being resurrected.  Of course, I shouldn't spoil it for those yet to finish.

Now that it's over, I have plans for a Finesse / Might-Finesse Varani and a Sorcery / Might-Sorcery Ljosalfar  but ... I already miss my Shadowcaster Kalasin.  Two weeks of madly Poison-Blinking all over the place, barreling (Twisted Claw) into a choice target in a tornade of spinning faeblades, roasting boggarts, spiders and threshs with Mark of Flame, Ice-Barraging a charging Arcane Barghast right in the face., Poison-Blinking into a gaggle of Tuatha and then send them flying asunder with Faeblade Cyclone, and finally Blink-dodging past a Prismere Troll's charge before shooting Shadow Flare blades point-blank right into its rear!

RE did my build towards might and I'm having a lot of fun using 2-handed weapons like Greatswords and Hammers.  The "Vault" special with the great sword is pretty fun to pull off.

But ya I'm still going around doing side missions and stuff, got a weakness for exploring.

I'd agree with that. I'd also agree with everything he said about making it an offline mmo... Some parts did remind me a lot like .hack

LOL @ "failing pest control business!"

Haven't been playing KoA seriously since ME3 Demo hit (stopped leveling my demo multiplayer @ N7:117) and now eagerly awaiting the launch 2 days to go.

Still haven't moved on to a new charactor because I <3 my Shadowcaster too much and couldn't let her go (Faeblades still haven't gotten old for me) ... Loading up KoA now then if only to replay certain parts of my Shadowcaster's journey. Definitely won't start a new charactor til I finish ME3, but KoA will be accessed now and then when I'm on a break.

Skyrim can go into the Recycle Bin for all I care until the backstabbing Dragon Priest itch comes back to bite me - then again I can get my backstabbing fix from KoA... (Yup, into the Recycle Bin!)

Won't be putting up new stuff here, I have spent a little time with the KoA wiki and future contributions will be there.

Does anyone know where I can find the boots and gloves for the Drakescale armour?
I already have the chest and leggings for it but I can't find the other pieces and trollhide just looks hideous.

@ Andarthiel_Demigod,
As I put in my previous posts, I hunted all over Klurikon for the last piece of Dreadscale (was missing the boots til shortly before Shadowcaster (which was attained @ Level 37). It probably is semi-random, so it appears my loot draw was continuingly missing the boots.

Good luck. I agree that Trollhide is yucky in looks (another reason why I stuck with the sweet sweet Hexweave Robes).

Just bought this few days back. Left me with very modest first impression. Terrible graphics style, terrible dialogue.
---Just bad 1st impression though, nothing more. Played like 15 mins.

Well I enjoyed it, ended up playing a full mage instead of my originaly planned shadowcatser. I'm looking forward to the DLC, but it drops in March so it'll have to wait until I'm through with ME3.

Heh, when I was at the House of Valor fighting through the arena gladiators and was invited to the champion's house; I found some pretty sweet unique/set/rare items in the house but then i accidentally quickloaded without having saved after having gotten those items, so I went to re-loot the Champion's house again and got different items that time around.
That led to me reloading right outside of the Champion's house several times in order for the loot-generator to give me more favorable items. I also tried doing it with other places, but certain location's like the Champion's house seems to have a substantially higher chance of getting unique & set items.
The mayor's house in Whitestone also has a good rate.

24 hours to go before I expect to pick up my ME3 CE.

A shot of one of the last unique Faeblades found by Kalasin toward the end in KoA before my femshep start kicking Reaper and Cerberus butts.

The sounds in this game are abyssal at best. I'm having hard time hearing whatever the characters say to my PC whenever they talk. I was forced to go in the audio settings of my own TV to balance things out, plus lowering the sound volume for the game's music and effects. I really wish they would arrange something for this game because it's starting to become annoying.

took a break for ME3 - now 50 hours in (and just met the high king of the Fae)
my current favourite weapon combo is chakrams for ranged attacks and multiple enemies with longsword and shield for one-on-ones (switching to daggers for stealth work)

Just got this game. Loving it. Playing as a warrior since I am a mage in Skyrim. Using a greatsword/hammer approach with sometimes using daggers as a secondary and / or bows. Daggers and bows are Finesse but a warrior is a warrior imo. Levelling smithing and detect hidden...don't see a need to level lockpicking anymore. Also want to augment so gonna do sagecraft. Pretty good rpg...sofar I'd rate it around an 8-9
