We have located and added additional UPCs for the Asia/Pacific dragon age "basic collector's" edition, and users should now be able to register their copy of the game using those.

I've got an Australian PS3 collector's edition (I think it's the basic one), and the barcode still doesn't work when trying to register. What should I do from here? Cheers!

My UPC code is not working when I try to register it either. I am sad now.

Console users should not have to 'register' a game with the site. UPC codes weren't made to serve that function, product keys were, but XBox 360 and other consoles games generally don't have one because...well, I've never ever had to register a console game to do anything. The XBox folks, Microsoft, will know if I'm not using a legal copy of the game and I'll have my XBox live account suspended. Only saying. I use both PC and Console and I've never, ever had to register an XBox or PS game. It also doesn't sound like it's working properly either.

Hey, I've just checked my page and it is showing "Registered Game" DLC. How can you know I have a legal, first time copy of the game and acknowledge receipt of free DLC that comes with that game and still require me to 'register' my XBox game with this site? Curious.

MiyuEmi: "registering" a console version of DA _on this site_ doesn't get you anything other than access to some forums. DLC is all run through a completely different system.

I have all the DLC, showing up on my page under a 'registered game'. I just want to access forums other than this one and be able to reply on them. I'm not looking for anything special other than to be able to post on forums other than the Social Site Help. I want access to reply etc on the Spoiler Forums.

The DA spoilers forums require you to register your game, using cdkey for PC or UPC for consoles. If you have a UPC to register, then it will work and you will get access.
We just deployed some updates to that page to make it more obvious what constitutes the UPC code to enter.
