After playing ME2 and seeing how Ash acted when seeing me (I let Kaidan die every time) there is no way I will be romancing her in ME3 at all. What in the hell did she expect Shepherd to do after he DIED? Come back to life for the sole purpose of finding her. After Cerberus miraculously brought him back and nobody would give any info on where Ash was, there was nothing to do but prepare for the reapers. Not waste time searching every planet in every star system for her. If she's so obsessed with the military and all that garbage she should understand priorities a little better. She'll be a welcome squadmember for ME3 but I won't be over friendly with her. unless she looks better than Miranda that is...
No chance for Ash

I guarantee you wish your girlfriend/wife looked anything like Ash or Miranda.
And over half her face is being blocked so unless the men you see or yourself have breasts and hips then I fail to see how she looks like a man.
And what is the point of this thread... no one cares about your opinion. My opinion on the other hand, highly sought after. I charge a dollar for my thoughts.

Shepard sounded like a ****ing idiot on Horizon and deserved the reaction by Ash. Shepard proved his point about as well as the OP, mainly like ****.SIPES13 wrote...
As far as I'm concerned, both Kaidan and Ash (depending on my Shepard) will be sitting on the bench. No excuse for that sort of reaction. My only hope is there will be a Virmire part 2.
"Ash, it's been a while, how's it going".
When you open a reunion where the other party thought you were dead like this, the conversation can only go downhill. The writers missed the ball here. I wish there was dialogue that said, "I don't even answer/work with Cerberus. It's my operation which I relectantly must work with them with." Unfortunately, Shepard just says that Ash is allowing her emotions to cloud her view (sounds a little sexist and certainly a stupid thing to say). I would have done the same thing as Ash in her situation.
Logical people were pissed off at Horizon being terribly written but tried there best to dismiss it but there are other people like the OP and you who... well nevermind, I'm sure you try your hardest in life.

And Kaidan "looks like a women", right?
Hate to break this to you, but you're gay.

The writers of that scene I'll need some more time on...

Kaiden on the other hand I did romance though I killed him more then I saved him and I thought I was getting through to him unlike Ash but I still would like the same option to say no and to find a replacement.
Both of these people moved on but I think in ME3 they will over look that and come to gut shep if he/she found someone new. I just get that impression with speaking to them for some reason.

Well how is Kaiden/ Ashley supposed to act after Shepard comes back after two years? Were they supposed to be ok with you being with Cerberus and just drop evey thing to join you?
I say the way they reacted was reasonable.

The e-mail you get later helps a little, but not much.
We'll have to see how they're reintroduced in ME3.
Odds are, I'm sticking to my ME3 LI over those two (there's still hope for Liara), but I never say never.

At least they could've given you an option/chance to convince them what you were doing was reasonable. Maybe you can convince them, but they have some super-secret-super-serious mission to finish and since you have such a capable team, you let them go on their mission in hopes you'll meet up again.
After all, they're about to be or already are Spectres, so it's logical.

Sure. But being that if they were Shepard's love intrest and after two years of a supposed death and Shep just comming out of the blue with a terrorist organization... yeah I don't think they'd care to be rational. Even if they weren't you are still teaming up with a terrorist organization and I can't imagine they'd think any reason Shepard would expect yo be listened to.
Bad example but think of it this way, you find the person your seeing in bed with another. Are you going to care what the reason was? Or are you going to be angry and less agreeable first? Yeah bad example but still, would you expect Ash/ Kaiden to really care about what defense Shepard could make up for teaming with Cerberus?

They're like a drug.
Anyway:
Frankly I'm not surprised Ashley responded the way she did. She's always been a woman of strong ethics and often puts emotion ahead of logic, she was shocked and saddened and confused by seeing Shepard return from the grave and shocked even more to see him working for a terrorist organization.
I understand why she was mad.
I don't LIKE the scene at all because it suffers from some of the most god awful writing in human history, but I understand why she reacted the way she did. Frankly the only emotion I felt when she left was sadness because I didn't want her to leave, not anger that she dared to disagree with me.
I've heard an argument on the Ashley thread that I actually liked by the way so I'm going to say it:
People argue that Ashley doesn't care about Shepard because she didn't empathise or try to understand or appreciate his situation. Well, that can be flipped around the other way too. If Shepard really cared for her, he would try to understand how difficult and confusing all this would be for her, not get angry and resentful because she didn't agree with him.

Arguing wtih someone like that is a waste of time, because the only way it can be resolved is, if you accept their superior judgement.
Those threads and similar posts in other threads will always pop up and like mosquito bites, they are annoying and will itch for a moment, but actually are pretty insignificant.
"Yeah, am so fantastic. I don't need to understand the emotional state Ash is in after she just got frozen by the seeker swarm, while almost the whole colony, she was sent to protect got abducted. I don't need to take into account, that her blood is probably still flooded with adrenaline.
"The b*tch just is mad at me, for not coming for her, it has nothing to do with the fact, that she thought I was dead and with me standing here in front of her, she is probably in a world of confusion.Well, if she can't argue rationally in a situation like that, i don't even bother.
"Why can't she simply shut up, fall around my neck and just look pretty. Yeah, if she improved her looks I might forgive her!"
