Well, one reason I took the Blood mage specialisation is because I thought it would be great fun to blood control some hapless henchmen and then drain them to refill my health. Of course this doesn't work. You can only cast blood sacrifice on an ally (and actual member of your party, like, say Alistair) no matter what the blood sacrifice spell description says.

There is a mod that changes this, but the mod appears broken (the "custom stuff" project in the da end user modules section). Daupdater doesn't seem to want to install the dazip file of this mod for me.

Anyone else feel the sting of bioware's sloopy attention to spell details here?

Anyone get this mod to work?
