I finished the dissent quest and I just found out that i missed out on an upgrade for anders. For the life of me I can't remember where the cave for the quest is located. I think its in darktown but can't find the entrance, does it disappear once the quest is complete?

The entrance is in Darktown, but it's only active/visible before you complete the quest (that is, after you chat with Anders and he tells you about the Tranquil Solution, the entrance will be a quest icon on your map and you will be allowed to enter the area). Once the quest is completed, you can no longer access the dungeon/cave.
