Before I dedicated the bulk of my modding hours to "The Master of Infinity" - I spent a substancial ammount of time on "Ancient Memories" - a story based on an inherited Curse which the PC must decide to either live with it forever or find a way to be rid of the Curse and die like everyone else in battle or from old age.

The people of Gravis Hollow begin to rise up when they learn of the Curse you have inherited - the Curse of Lycanthropy. Your only choice is to flee the Hollows to protect your House and your family from superstitious pitchfork weilding commoners.

You have just enough time to make way before sunset, taking with you all that you can for the long road ahead of you. All you know of the Curse lies with the remains of your Uncle Ignatious Gravis. His death is unexplained and his grave is days of travel away. Your most desperate effort to reach the grave must happen before the next full moon which is less than 2 weeks away.

You have no companions, all of your comrades fear you and their families have forbade their efforts to help provide for your journey. You set out alone into the dusk to find the place where Ignatious died - did he find the cure? Or was he slain by a Hunter of the Supernatural?

***My PC is being repaired so I have hooked up my old 2gig and decided to work on Acient Memories while I wait for the repair shop. Getting back into the Curse Scenario has been fun but I am much farther along in the Infinity Scenario. Some might remember my numerous posts on the olde forums regarding Feat creation and spellhooking for the Werewolf persona the PC takes on.

The question is - which sounds more worthy of finishing first - is it aesthetics or percentage done?

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if I understand this. You know, non-English native speaker and all that...

Agreed with Hellfire, Ancient Memories sounds great.

Do you have to complete the module in the time limit, or do you just turn into a wolf every month? It could be quite interesting if, every month, something happened based upon where you are - e.g. if you are resting in town, you wake up to find that you killed three villagers in the night, and now everybody wants to kill you.

Honestly this sounds more interesting than the Infinity project since it brings to mind the personal storyline of MotB. But then if you are mostly done with Infinity it's better to get that out.

Oh, yes, if Infinity is closer to the release, finish it first.

I'd say go with the one that gets you more excited. The more you like it, the more fun you will have.

Ancient Memories does have a more tangible storyline and all of the Werewolf scripting is mostly done.

Actually the Curse manifests itself pretty much willy nilly (willy nilly?) But the idea of a monthly slaying by the wereform PC could really help the plot and would add to the uncontrollable side of things.

To be honest the Ancient Memories scenario is quite a way along - bit the Infinity scenario is much larger in scope, being designed to be non-linear.

I like both stories but listening to the few posts here, I might say that the Werewolf scenario would be more fun to see finished (I am a bit daunted by the Infinity being non-linear, but it is a pretty solid plot in actuality).

Thanks for the replies.

Ancient Memories sounds awesome!! finishing that one would kinda allow you to put the larger more comlicated mod on the back burner, chances are doing the more linear one first will teach you a few things.
Mind you I am completely awefull with the tool set.and have no scripting skill.

You could also make it where the curse makes the PC wet his bed sometimes too.
