So basically what everyone is saying boils down to "Sorry Ms Modeler for saying your modelling sucks, when its obviously due to the incompetence of the other graphical departments in BW"

*whistles innocently*

Look, what's your deal? You've been trying to turn this into something unpleasant since the beginning. Is it truly so horrible that that I take a moment to try and undo some of the nasty that's been aimed at this woman without wanting it turned into a slag-fest of other departments, instead of keeping the focus on the misjudgement of her work? Really? There's a whole forum available for you to do that.

You're talking to neppakyo, the "I ****** on DA2" guy. Don't expect anything constructive from him.

At any rate, it was a good thing you created this thread, it has been a pleasant surprise for many posters. Just ignore the unconstructive posts.

If only better lighting could fix Zevran's face... XD

But that's interesting to know how much difference it makes taking DA2 Alistair out into some sunshine. Kudos to the person who worked on his appearance.

Well, imo that still doesn't match his DA:O morph particularly well, but it's nowhere near the abomination that it currently looks like.

I only wish to know how the lighting in the Hanged Man is so bad as to make him look like a distant cousin of Droopy.

Maybe he looks a bit younger but I still think he looks like death warmed over and he doesn't look the same as canon Alistair. I think my modded Alistair looks better but then again he wasn't a dead ringer for canon Alistair but more of a cross between Alistair and Cailan. :P

Edit: *points to the cheesecake below* That is cruel and unusual punishment, because now I'm craving cheesecake. Grrrr! :P

Lighting can do very strange things. It's the primary reason that so many people swore that Isabela was a pale-skinned red-head back in DA:O.

Notifying people of the things you've said yourself is hardly a personal attack. And moving on to avoid derailing the thread.

The lighting in the perl was fine! I'm pretty sure she was pale!

And there's a mod to change it back to DAO's Isabella hehe

No you're not. You've taken something I have said out of context. And yes, you can shut up about this now and stop derailing the thread.

PPFTTT I am not afraid of the pony apocolypse, I will just call on Mr. Toots. His rainbow fart of DOOM will protect me.

And no, I won't apologize. He may look great in sunshine, he still looks like a potato head in shadow. I don't need to apologize, I didn't threaten the designer or call for them to be fired. So why would I need to apologize. my opinion stands. Alistair looks horrid.*shrugs*

It is interesting how lighting can make such a difference. Now what's the excuse for Zevran? ROFL! Good lord, guppy face.

Interesting how the kings and queens of snark almost without exception act hurt when they are taken to task in the least over their 'sharp' opinions.

It is amusing to say the least.

ANd what did happen to ol' Zev? Besides being dead in DAO and showing up fine in DA2. Looks pretty decent for a dead elf!

Seriously though, he does look worse than his origins appearance.

Yes, cried all into my hankie...with laughter. Seriously, I talked to a person who is taking care of six grand kids with cerebal palsy and a diagnosis of cancer who had her water turned off, today. Please, feel free to call me on snark, call me a ****, a whiner, a PC elitist. Whatever your little heart's desire. I think I can handle it, in the grand scheme of what my clients go through, I can suck it up and take it.  And so can you.

It was uncalled for and unclassy, and Z is usually better than that. Trolls are trolls, we all know them. Snark is snark, calling someone out by name who is not a troll, but has an snarky attitude or sense of humor you don't find palatable is uncouth and uncalled for.

He got smacked wth the ugly tree into the rock of guppy, and the hard place of retcon nightmares? Dunno. That is one I have yet to wrap my mind around. The Ali is much better in daylight, Zev, wasn't in any light. EEP!:?=]

Actually, I was fine with him looking pale and chunky. Being a king was not going to be easy on him. But I am glad this was said. It takes a strong woman to admit when she was wrong.

He does look a lot better in normal light (ali I mean, the character, not forum member! ;)  ). But his mouth looks a bit monkey-ish, the big protruding lips and area around the lips, and the jaw and cheek are kinda wierd.

But I agree with Zev. He fell outta the ugly tree, hitting every branch on the way down and then the tree fell on him.

And it was a heavy tree. I agree the chunky pale Ali, could be explained by kingship resting uneasy on his shoulders. But Zev?

Seriously though it's amazing what a huge difference lighting makes plus his chin is upwardly inclined, I think that helps.
