[Dreadstruck]

First off, lemme say I am a total bonehead when it comes to the HW stuff, so please bear with me.

So, I am having this nice lil' notebook that has been serving me for quite a time.
Thing is, that I was greeted by a completely blank white screen when turning it on today.
I can hear the fan and the harddrive working, I can even adjust the brightness with FN+UP or DOWN but I just can't see anything.

Tried rebooting - Blank white screen
Took out the battery and checked if the power supply isn't broken(it isn't) - Blank white screen
Tried connecting it to an external monitor - It seems to be connected but I get a black screen on the external one. Hitting FN+F1 up to F8 doesn't seem to work either

My Laptop:
Samsung
Windows 7 Home 32 bits
Intel i5 m430 2.27 GhZ
4 gigs of DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 330M GT 1 GB

So... any ideas what's going on? Any help appreciated!
