Went with airships this time around, just because it's still on the list, I haven't voted for it before, and I have an idea for something I might be able to work up for that theme (and it's not an airship, just something that might go along with ships in general).

Just voted - keep pluggin' away for arcane space stuff. Surprised that there are a couple of items that have to a greater or lesser degree been covered recently - egyptian relifious and dwarves (little guys?).

Also curious about the Drow/Underdark dissappearing.

I voted for (underwater) just about anything but Airships and Planetscape as I don't use or play anywhere that uses them. Not that they are not worthy, just not my cup of tea.

I went for Horror because its been awhile since we had a good genre theme. I'll keep voting for that one until it wins in October.

How about yet another future theme suggestion?

Animal Related Stuff: More (or improved) models for "real-world" animals brought into D&D, such as monkeys, crocodiles, smaller birds, additional types of snakes, the platypus (with or without fedora), insects and arthropods (giant dragonfly?), improved elephants and hippos, etc.  There have been some of these around for years, but could use some drastic improvements.  

Also, how about items and placeables used for dealing with animals, such as smaller cages, grooming tools, harnesses, slaughterhouse equipment, training equipment, full sized stables, chicken coops, etc.?  

And what about prefab animal blueprints with stats, or various new animal AI scripts, or new traps for capturing (but not killing) animals for those human druids and rangers out there?  Maybe new spells that specifically target animals.

You could even go so far as to create animal-motif PC/NPC clothing (armor/shield/helm/cloak) models/textures. Breastplate with a wolf or lion head design?  Eagle head shoulder pieces? Snake design shin guards? Armor that includes small decorative metallic wings or tintable (cloth/leather channel) feathers attached at various points?

- Yes, I know, it's a long suggestion, but I wanted to give folks ideas besides just animal creature models.



Here's a much more compact version:

Themes that get no votes are removed from the next poll.  Don't worry, I keep them around and wait several months then toss them back in.  Keep in mind that there is a limit of 20 themes per poll.  It is just a way to make room for new themes and keep the poll size down.

@]Mdarkbyte - Yup, I saw that on the main CCC thread.  I'll be adding it in for August's poll.  There is really no easily managable/fair way to add in new poll options once people start voting.  So keep your eye on it for next month. Meanwhile pick your favorite from the currently listed options. =)

wow! i didnt expect airships to win o.o, even though i voted for it, i kinda hoped planescape would :3 maybe i can try my hand at submitting some of my airships
