so um yea about this "New" patch when I run up to a merchant the came would skip or freeze for a second...I did it again and again to see if it was just a fluke...nope..sigh man..really guys..bah.

which merchant? or are you saying every merchant does this in every act?

I just got back into the game from doing a Beta...pop the game in and I was running to every merchant making sure I had everything before I continued on the Quest and every one them it seems my game would skip or freeze when I runs towards them.

Anywhere else in the game or just the merchants?

yea I just checked right now, its soon as u get into the range of the Merchants

As I posted in the title update thread this morning, ever since getting this patch yesterday my game now stutters every 20 to 30 seconds, no matter where in Kirkwall I'm at. The frame rate comes to a complete stop -- sticks for a second -- and then carries on. It happens both during battle and just roaming around. It's terribly annoying.

I've noticed this issue as well. It happens at completely random times for me. I noticed it happened right at the intro to the game when they're dragging Varric.

I also noticed it a few times while running around Kirkwall.

I'm running the game off the disc on a 120 GB Elite. I have recently reformatted my whole Xbox hard drive so I doubt there's much in the system cache to clear.

it seems like every time theres and "Update" other things in the game gets screwed up. Sorry to say it like that but its just my observation since playing this game.

I quit man I just can't play like this..this game is skipping like crazy and this is the ONLY game thats giving me trouble out the 15 that I have...I'm sorry but I gotta take this back.

I noticed a slight bit of skipping after the 1.01 patch, but it's a lot more obvious with 1.02. I've been trying to be patient with it, but it IS frustrating, and doesn't seem to be happening in any one specific area.

Haven't played yet, but this sounds pretty bad. I wonder if this is happening to everyone.
