Yeah... I was wondering why this didn't happen sooner, honestly.

I'm having that recouring problem when you play something that's over a decade old: technology is so advanced when compared to what was available when the game was released that older games just run at incredible speeds. Seriously, it looks like everyone has haste cast on them. Even the NPCs (which makes it pretty hard to just talk to them).

Is there some way to slow it down to normal speed?

lol thats really funny, thats not meant to happen even if you have a super pc.I think you must have increased the frame rate settings in the configuration. Despite most games now running at 60 fps is a good thing with BG you have to keep it at 30. The more you increase it the faster stuff happens like pressing fast-forward on a movie.

The game still runs at normal speed for me. Only problem is that it has a tendency to crash when I play it at 1074x768 resolution, so I am basically stuck at 800x600.

You could always try to play it in windowed mode or download the widescreen mod and try that Kenng
