...When does he enter the game? I've downloaded it and installed it and I've come to act 2 but there's no appearence. Did I do something wrong?

Did you log your game online to identify your account ?

It's start at act1 in front of the chantry board.

Did you meet him in Act I? He's in front of the Chantry and leaves a quest on the Chantry board.

Have you have instaled a DLC, you need to log using the game menu to identify that the account used to play the game is authorisez to play X or Y DLC.

You don't need to play online, but identification is requiered when you use knew dlc.

Any body could download and instal the dlc, but without loggin with an account that paid for the dlc, the game won't allow you play it.

This is how works most of EA games, especialy Bioware games and their DLC (mass effect serie, dragon age serie etc).

Once you've authenticated the DLC, you will have the quest 'Duty', this will be available in Act 1 in all games started after this point, but it will be available for you in Act 2 before going to the intended Act 2 quest. (I had it installed on a game that was Act 2 and had Duty followed by Repentance) You need to go to the Chantry courtyard to start it up.

You can confirm install by going to Downloadble Content button on your Main Menu. After clicking that, you should see an "Installed Contents" window. If it shows you are OK, if not it is probably because you have not logged in using same login you used to buy DLC.

I have a related problem.

I found Sebastian and completed all his quests, but he just hangs out in the Chantry now. When choosing which characters to use in my party, he's not an option. He's not there at all.

Isn't he supposed to be a playable character? Have I done something wrong?

@biomar, what act are you? He's only available from act 2 onwards.

I'm not 100 per cent sure. I think I'm about to finish Act 2. Or maybe I just have finished it . . . all I know is that I've done everything in Act 2 except the Deep Roads expedition, which I've recently started.

That's still act 1. Once you've finished the expedition you've finished act 1.

First, check on this forum, on the left , Profile / Your registered games content.
It will show you all the dlc and bonus bound to your account and the platforme they are working on.

Make sure the exiled prince is here.

After that, use the same account to log from DA2 menu.
Your game will check if this account is allowed to play a DLC.

If you have done everything but still not working as it should be, contact EA support, sometimes, a small glich happen but they can fix it for you.
