Okay, poll is over. Vanguard won. Feel free to keep posting, maybe someone else will find the results useful in the future.

For me it's Vanguard, by far.

Kronner already took Vanguard, so I'll say AI Hacking focused Engineer. Try to hack YMIRs/Geth Primes and use them to kill the enemy. It can be very challenging but very rewarding, especially with the YMIRs.

Vanguard, because it's fun to rush people.
Engineer, because when I pick Dominate as bonus power, I can take control of anything on the battlefield.
Then Sentinel because of the Tech Armor.
Then Infiltrator because of the cloak.
Adept is in my opinion just boringly difficult.
And Soldier is meh. No strategy behind the class at all.

ME2 has no fun class, there all complacent because of a crappy protection system, unless your playing on casual, go for the adept.
At least ME1 had all the classes unique and fun, even the soldier for how basic the class is. Which by the way, the soldier class got **** on in ME2.

So far, I've liked all of the classes aside from the Soldier.
My first was Infiltrator, and that cloak is craaazy.
Next was Soldier; having all the weapons and no active powers other than concussive shot was just too boring for me, I thought it lacked depth.
Then I went Adept, which was awesome. A lot of people complain about protections gimping them, but I played it on insanity, and nothing else, and thought it was well balanced. Singularity can lock down almost anything, and warp bombs are the bane of EVERYTHING. I actually thought it was a little too easy, what with turning an entire bar of protection (health) into a weapon against their comrades.
I've played a little vanguard; I love charge, but I'm not very good at it yet.
Engineer/Sentinel unknown.

Adept, love throwing enemies around and warp explosions.
Second is Sentinel, closest to a power spammer in the game plus gets more out of squadmates than any other class.
But I like all of them. I think they were all unique, fun to play and relatively well balanced without the mattock being available.

The Vanguard is the most enjoyable for me. It rewards aggressive play and, when played properly, can keep fighting without any need for downtime.
Shotgun Infiltrator takes second place.

Adept.
As far as I'm concerned, no other class comes close to offering such a spontaneous method of play. It's a class that really rewards thinking quickly and exploiting the immediate situation, and is responsible for some of the most hilarious sections of gameplay I've come across in a long time.
But then, I'm a telekinesis fanboy.

Vanguard is really fun.. although I am kind of burning out on the charge-charge-charge. The cases were you can't/shouldn't charge are very rare. Kind of makes stale gameplay once you get the feel of the class.
edit: Yes a shotgun adept is really really fun (I mod mine to use a Claymore since I find the GPS stupid op and the other shotguns "meh"), but I still think an AR Adept is superior to the Shotgun Adept(Non GPS) which kind of sucks
.
I been using Barrier with mine for the occasional oh crap moment. Although I'd prefer ot have Stasis, but I like to play as fast as I can.

I'm an adept fan too
. Prefer the highly mobile style, with shotgun/barrier (modded profeciency in, but I suppose SMG would do the job too). Throw field + ledges is awesome. So are warp exlosions.

Sentinel. Even on veteran diff. I haven't died once. That tech armour is stupidly usefull. tech arm+energy drain/geth shield boost. Cover? What's that for?

I'm a glutton for punishment, so it's insanity for me.The Van man...has proven thus far, to have been the most fun for me. Charge can be deadly (for you) if used wildly. When you get it down, and know when and where to use it, it can be awesome. Charging protected enemies, to knock them back and steal their cover, as you move across the battlefield. Charge a weaker enemy outside the pocket, or even on another elevation, to escape overwhelming odds.
I am currently a the start of another playthrough with the Adept, we'll see how it goes. I will play the Eng next, with a bonus of Dom. AI Hak / Dom produces the most comical gaming experience. With those two powers, you get 1 down to health, and take out an entire platoon.

My favorite is the Sentinel. They are the most versatile. Versatility is the #1 fun factor for me.

It changes a bit for me over time, but currently:
1. Widow Infiltrator.
2. Claymore Vanguard.
3. Adept/Engineer with shotgun training.

I highly recommend the Engineer. It may not be the most 'badass', but it can certainly be the most ANNOYING towards the enemies.

I agree, most definatly! Those tech drones are an epic annoyance, plus incinerate and cyro blast keeps those witless fools out of cover! Most annoying party ever! - Engineer, Tali and Legion. 3 combat drones zooming around the battlefield. More than makes up for the lower amounts of health and damage the engineer class lives with
