Hey folks,

I got DA2 on disc a few days ago, and my friend got it yesterday via download, and both of us have run into the same issue. When we're installing the game it is "Gathering List of Files to be Installed" however both of us crash at this point. Finally his worked and he's been playing happily since, however mine has yet to work.

I searched and found threads offering some tips, however rebooting, draging the installer to the desktop, etc. have not worked.  I've yet to see any official fix for this, and after my 20th try or so on installing I'm starting to lose hope.

Is there a fix for this? I'm on a 2011 MacBook Pro and all of the requirements are met so im not sure what exactly to do from here. I tried the online tech support but they were unable to resolve the issue after 4 hours..... so I thought I'd ask here.

2011 Macbook Pro? Watch out for your graphics card since it is Intel HD 3000, which is not supported by the game, and maybe it's the reason why your game is crashed. But if you have the 15 or 17 inch MacBook Pro, you can try to switch to the AMD Radeon HD and try again.

And what about your friend? Which kind of Mac machine he or she has? If it is the old generation of Macbook Pro, oddly, it would work!!!
