The question now is it going to arrive all crumpled since it is in a tube or otherwise damaged?

At $80 for the litho and $9 s&h, I expect it to arrive perfectly. I do feel for the people that didn't get it though. Why not increase it to like 1000 and then lower the price to $65. Get rid of the ebayers and it is still limited.

;)

These aren't sent out until July... Good news is you change the address later. I'm moving in about 2 weeks.

So whats the deal.. I have it in my shopping cart, go to checkout not there.. the only way I could get to the confirm order page was with two in my cart (one with out a remove button). I hammered the confirm order button on that for 20 minutes. Got nothing. Still says I have the item in my shopping cart now but there is nothing when I go to checkout. Did I just get screwed out of the first wave?

It's sold out now. But this is what happened to me too. The cart is buggy. Apparently you need to sign out and then sign back in.

Well, no e-mail yet and nothing in the order history so I'm taking that as "nope".

^ Wish I knew that 20 minutes ago.

I think a lot of people got screwed by this. All I'll say is at least they didn't ballsup and release the whole lot at once. I've been logged in since seven hours ago in case id got the time wrong, and have been refreshing every half hour or so until an hour before when i stepped up to every five mins. I refreshed the instant it came on the screen, had it in my cart the next second and was halfway through the paypal process. Then it screws up and gives me that damn server busy crap for twenty minutes before selling out.

Ms Domino needs to answer the question. Why rolled up? I WANT IT SERVED FLAT. I will gladly pay an extra $10 or whatever, especially when this litho is so amazing and so big and EXPENSIVE!

I really don't care how well it is rolled up, flat is better. Period.

Leonia42 I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the exact same thing happened to me and MSparky when we tried the first time. I couldn't remove the second one from my cart as two were added during some kind of server glitch. When I removed the only one removeable and carried this through it didn't register as an item in my cart and had no value listed for payment, despite "being" in my cart. I had to sign out and sign in again, which cleared the error and my cart. I was then able to add a fresh one into a new order and went through the whole thing again. After 10 mins of resubmitting it went though.

I would recommend keeping an eye on your email and try signing out and in again.

Hey, for everyone that couldn't get through, CHECK YOUR EMAIL!

Weirdest thing happened. I kept getting the same message as everyone else so I just kept resubmitting over and over again (I'm assuming everyone is also doing the same)...somehow or another, 2 of those times actually went through (I'm assuming when the submit order button starts to lag). Anyways, I just checked my email and somehow, 2 of those orders actually went through. I'm assuming 1 of them will probably get cancelled but I just wanted to point that out. So check your email before losing hope.

that only works for those who are lucky, me being on my phone with gmail and no email means unlucky, which i do tend to have terriblw luck lol

I'd have to disagree on that. They got the rolled up shipping pretty good right before they switched to flat, and it's been bent corners all the way since then.

Yeah, I had the same problem as everyone else....refreshed just as it showed up, put in my payment details, and just kept getting Server Busy over and over and over again...the odd time it would take a bit longer, but eventually it would just spit back the same thing. This is pretty frustrating.

I dunno, when you think about its unrolled size, that's a big area for some clumsy oaf to stick their boot through.  A tube is probably better... as long as it's a nice thick one, like Valve uses for their lithos.

I logged in and logged out and tried everything to just get the thing to process, but with the slow ass internet here by the time it pings the server I get the server error. I am sure the 2nd release will be the same way and I just can't justify staying up that long.

and it doesn't have that annoying ability to roll back up once you lay it flat?

I agree, as long as the tube is sturdy enough. The one they used to ship Kirkwall Gate was pretty weak, it got bended/dented during shipping, but I stil got it in mint shape. It didn't have the usual corner bends/creases that are common when they ship with the flat box.
