dude, I'm repeating the same stuff since page 7 : Requests more RAM and Disk Space, makes dubbed down and unstable game.

Actually, I decided to check out a game that popped into my head as being "Better With Kinect" - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and much to my dismay I saw that there were Kinect achievements for the game. This game was also published by EA.
PLEASE BIOWARE NO KINECT ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!
Sorry for the caps, but seriously, that would be horrible. "Hey, to complete the series that you started 4+ years ago, you have to go buy a $150 peripheral for a 5GS achievement!"
Your main concern is that you might not be able to get all the achievements?

supporting kinect but not move would be a bad buisness move. it'd alienate the PS3 crowd. though i doubt anyone would actually care. it'd still be a symbolic alienation of their userbase.MostSpartan 14 wrote...
I know I will (if this is true) so you're wrong there. And according to the PS3 boxart, there won't be Move support so your wrong again. And third of all, it won't be exercise. It will still be played mainly with a controller. Kinect will just be there for smaller things like maybe Galaxy Map navigation or voice commands. You can sit down while your using it. If you call that exercise, you may need to work out a little more.
you have no idea what it would be used for. having it for menu useage like the galaxy map would be horrible, you sound like you have a kinect, have you seen a GOOD kinect menu? i think not...
the best thing they could do is use voice commands, which again, arent necessary or even enriching gameplay in any real way. so why would they bother?
i really hope this is a box art mistake because well, ME3 literally has nothing to gain from having kinect support.

This might have been said earlier (I don't want to read through all 9 pages) but maybe the Kinect will scan your face for the character creation system.

They're the ones who are gonna think of the brilliant Kinect innovation, not you or me. And for the record, I think the Kinect menu controls for the dashboard work perfectly fine. It's not necessarily as fast as using the controller (unless you're doing voice commands) but it still works. But like I said, it may not be used for menu navigation. Kinect can do a lot of things. It's Bioware who's going to think of a great way to use it.

Dumb down how? Considering the other platforms lack kinect , it would have to be an optional feature...

This was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the purple line slapped on that boxart.
it takes processing power (even if you're not using one), therefor the game cant run as high quality graphics and effects.Nuclear Pete wrote...

Your naivete is pretty cute. You still think Bioware calls the shot on those kind of things?

What? You think this was EA's decision? Maybe it was. But do you think EA is gonna delay the game (if this is even the reason for the delay) and miss out on a holiday release AND invest money into adding Kinect features if it's something shoddy that doesn't even work well. Something that, in the end, won't garner any attention. You think they would put that much risk in to one of their biggest franchises for something that ends up not working well. That doesn't seem like to be a smart busniess move for EA.
