And usually covers are made how...?

I think the armor looks different in here, but it may be the small size making things unclear. But I can swear the whole upper section, shoulder pads, and the arm platings are from a different armor. Doesn't look fake, and if it is, it's damn well done. For me, what gives it away is that the EA logo looks surprisingly generic, they usually pimp it up with game-related themes.

It's just GameInformer cover with Omni-tool blade photoshoped.
Lazy made.
ME2 cover isn't very good but it's not obvious photoshop from some magazine cover.

So? Bioware made the GameInformer artwork, and have used variations of it for every magazine cover with an ME3 cover story. They clearly think that image of Shepard standing in front of a burning Earth is the image they want for ME3, so why shouldn't they use it as the cover? It may've been designed as the game artwork first, then been altered slightly for magazine articles because they like the image.

Yeah the armour that Shepard wears on this cover is different. Guess this is the ME3 version of iconic N7 armour.

EDIT: It is not completely riped off from game informer ... If you look closely the armour is different. The one on GI cover is the ME2 variant of N7, what we have here is N7 variant that we have not seen yet. Its not very different but if you look closely you can tell. Though I agree that the cover is not very impressive.

Using motion control in dance and sport games is one thing, but I have a hard time imagining how it would work in a shooter/RPG...

How does motion control work in Killzone 3? Is it natural? Tiring? Glitchy?

From what I hear its okay but not optimal at all. The thing is when I played Killzone 3 I didn't even notice the option was there. There was no section where I was like "Oh they added this/modified the game here for the Move!" and I strongly suspect IF it shows up in ME3 it'll be the same way.

It'll be some option that most people won't even tick and that'll be the end of it.

I think some people are worrying unnecessarily, though I can understand their concerns - but the entire Dev team is not going to be pulled from their tasks to work on this. The other departments are still going to be handling their stuff, they're not going to pull somebody off the story team or the art team or the voice work team to help get Kinect elements in. Not to mention that we have no idea what said elements even are.

The fact that they delayed it at the very least means that they're not rushing to shove this in while still making a Holiday launch. I honestly think people won't even notice its presence should it actually even happen.

Re Brenon saying BW don't comment on rumours - they usually let us know if they are false so it looks like there may be Kinect features in ME3.

Exciting stuff (if u have Kinect that is) :-)

I hope this is just a rumour. I despise all forms of motion control gameplay devices and I refuse to support anything that is associated with the Wii Mote, Kinect and/or the Playstation Move.

Who's to say that there's not a dance off? How else do you expect to destroy the Reapers?

As mentioned previously, being a PC gamer first, this doesn't affect me.

However, as I pick up the ME games on the cheap for Xbox, I'd be interested in giving this a whirl...because the things that work with Kinect are good fun....I don't know how it would work with ME3...but if its there and isn't impeding on anyone else...I say bring it on. I'm all for pushing the way of control.

The Gameinformer cover had Shepard holding the pistol in his left hand, and facing the camera. And I'll say it again, his armor looks ridiculously off. And not photoshopped-off.

And also. The actual Gameinformer cover wasn't made by Gameinformer. If Bioware wants to, they can use it for their box art.

I wonder if Kinect could be used to navigate the galaxy map, that'd be pretty cool.

Like others have said, I think navigating the galaxy map with my arms would be a pretty nice touch of immersion. Kinect could be used for mini-games like hacking and such as well which I think might be cool. For moving Shepard, combat and picking dialogue options though I want to use a controller.

That's what community staff does, not developers.

Add some character faces in the background and I am satisfied.

Now that I think of it, if they add the tagline "Punch annoying reporters, now with Kinect!" somewhere, a lot of people will suddenly start to support the move... =P

@Phaedon: I see your point but there is nothing stopping a dev posting on here to refute a rumour. I'm going to wait until it is officially confirmed in any case, but unless it gets outright denied it is likely that Kinect will be in the game.

Well, there are always angry machette-wielding marketing employees. Even if it is a mistake from EA's part now, they may change their minds eventually, and then everyone will say that 'X from Bioware lied to us'. Anyway, it's corporation policy, I doubt they have much freedom over confirming or denying features.

Worse than kinect is that omni-tool blade. I hope we can all agree on that atleast. That's dumb than a mug.
