Seriously, people complaining about an OPTIONAL feature
How do you know it's a waste of time when you haven't even seen it yet. No one has. Every Kinect game released so far has been Kinect only with no controller support as well. This could be some groundbreaking stuff. And I'm confident that Bioware wouldn't take the time to put it in if it wasn't something worth doing.

The best part is that it's 100% real. Granted, it may be an early desing that will change in future, but it's completly legit.MarchWaltz wrote...

I know it's a waste of time, because I'm pretty sure no one will play Mass Effect 3 with Kinect, or Move.. Or something... We want a game, not an exercise.MostSpartan 14 wrote...

I know I will (if this is true) so you're wrong there. And according to the PS3 boxart, there won't be Move support so your wrong again. And third of all, it won't be exercise. It will still be played mainly with a controller. Kinect will just be there for smaller things like maybe Galaxy Map navigation or voice commands. You can sit down while your using it. If you call that exercise, you may need to work out a little more.

That's the danger of sarcasm. Some people actually think what your saying is a good idea.

still requests RAM and disk space... makes the game unstable and uglier... do not want.

Okay, that's pretty much the only justifiable response as to why it shouldn't be there. Yeah, that could be an issue. But this is Bioware we're talking about. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in them, but they aren't going to add a feature if it affects the game's preformance that much. Features get cut from games all the time because they make the game too unstable. This would be no different. If it doesn't work we'll, they'll cut it out. They won't release an unstable game.

I really hate this direction Microsoft is moving towards. Casual gaming and turning the 360 into more of a central entertainment device, instead of focusing on the hardcore gamers.

The problem a lot of people have with Kinect is that due to cut-backs from the original design it uses the consoles resources which means those resources can't be used by the game causing downgraded graphics and/or gameplay. There is also a possibility that even when not using this feature that those resources are still being held in reserve.IsaacShep wrote...

supporting kinect but not move would be a bad buisness move. it'd alienate the PS3 crowd. though i doubt anyone would actually care. it'd still be a symbolic alienation of their userbase.MostSpartan 14 wrote...

you have no idea what it would be used for. having it for menu useage like the galaxy map would be horrible, you sound like you have a kinect, have you seen a GOOD kinect menu? i think not...
the best thing they could do is use voice commands, which again, arent necessary or even enriching gameplay in any real way. so why would they bother?
i really hope this is a box art mistake because well, ME3 literally has nothing to gain from having kinect support.

PLEASE BIOWARE NO KINECT ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!
Sorry for the caps, but seriously, that would be horrible. "Hey, to complete the series that you started 4+ years ago, you have to go buy a $150 peripheral for a 5GS achievement!"

Actually, I decided to check out a game that popped into my head as being "Better With Kinect" - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and much to my dismay I saw that there were Kinect achievements for the game. This game was also published by EA.

Your main concern is that you might not be able to get all the achievements?

Gears of Potter... I heard it was a Reel Shooter when you we're playing with Kinect, even if you have full control of your movements when playing normally... what the **** ? Getting every achevements is not a problems because Achievements are unuseful. However, just look how Gears of Potter is much uglier than Half Blood Prince (even if this game suck too)... <_<
