Is anyone else looking forward to this game? So far everything I hear about it just gets me even more excited for its release.

Here is the trailer, just released today!

The game will be released November 15, 2011.

Yeah I have it on preorder myself, and I like most of what I hear, but the nut hits is getting old, though I'm happy it will be less "thug" I'm worried to an extent that its been replaced with "clowns". But still seems solid, though the size of the new city may be too small, but that hasn't really been stated. I don't go near its offical site however. Still enjoyed SR2.

You see, one awesome thing about this game is the hidden sophistication hinted at during all the game previews. You will now have mission choices, you now get experience (called respect) that you can use to level up and customize your character, you can influence the direction of the story, missions will refer to what you did in previous missions, its all just awesome.

Very excited about it. Saints Row 2 was awesome... the only true successor to GTA: San Andreas (GTA4 was way too realist and the fun was gone). I will get it on first day.

Yeah that pleased me a bit. Its like they are heading more toward RPG in a manner. Still wouldn't call it such though. But still nice to see, than another "on the rails" title.

I'm not really looking forward to "Saints Row: The Third". I've looked up what details of the story have been leaked, and honestly its annoyingly repetitive of previous plotlines. I'm not saying its the exact same story as the last Saints Row game, but its pretty damn close. While happening with the first game, your character gets injured/arrested, and in the second game its explained that the Saints disbanded and you are left with nothing, with having to rebuild the Saints being the main focus of the storyline.

Now, instead of a "Salting The Earth" event, the Saints lose control of Stilwater from this new group "The Syndicate", and you have to start over AGAIN, this time in a new city BUT with, guess what... 3 initial gangs to beat.

I could appreciate the silliness in the first 2 games because the story enough was interesting. Now they're copying the majority of their last story...

The first 2 games werent anything special so I dont really expect anything special from the 3rd.

Also is it just me or does anyone else find the "gangsta" theme and the characters in Saints Row are a bit of a ******?

I can't wait for this game. Just looks great on every level.

And I say this as someone who's never been a fan of GTA style games. But I was convinced to try Saint's 2 a few months ago when it was cheap on Steam and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

I wish Bioware would take their lead for DA3 and have multiple well acted and very different voices for the protaganist.

^That. I simply adore the first two games for their immature sense of humor. I bloody hate GTA, though. I'd rather have a silent PC for DA3.

SR2 was great. Hopefully SR3 matches or exceeds it.

You should try this if you have the PC version, helps with the horrible port nature of it. http://idolninja.com/sr2.php its called gentlemen of the row, its made up of members of the offical forum and is even listed on the main site and adds a ton of stuff that should have been in the game.

From the video's I've seen all I got to say is.....God I'm not going to have a life in november, between it and Skyrim.

Oh well didn't think I should make another thread when we have this, so sorry for the Necro but some new news and a trailer of the upcoming preorder bonus. On a side note I so want to beat the **** out of people in that cat suit, or get the professor as a homie.

So long as all the hobos and their respective voice actors return, I'm bound to enjoy it.

oh yes I'm still playing 2. Too whoever said he played them for the story I say lol. The story always sucked and you might as well skip the cut scenes for all it mattered. I got the GTA games for the story this one is for the zany off the wall do whatever the hell I want.

SR2 won me over with it's "Would you rather" campaign. I'm pretty sure I will enjoy 3.

Yar the Video seems to be rather well liked on Youtube, and is a departure from most pre-order bonus items as of late. The only issues I think I'll have with the thrid is to play it, Skyrim, or Rage first lol.

The melee alone makes it look hella fun and now I'm thinking this is on the top of my list of games to look forward to now.
