Yeah sure. But I know the character creator in SR2. I doubt the next one is going to revolutionize anything, it's just going to make me annoyed because I don't have the game yet.

If you're anything like me, and spend hours trying to get your characters faces just right, you'd appreciate getting it a little bit early so you're ready to start playing the second you get the game.

Dragon Age:Origins released a creator prior to its launch and it was great for just that reason.

Heh the DAO creator was very limited to me. I had trouble making anyone I was satisfied with. so I just tossed a default character with a beard and was good.

SR2 however... That game brought out my creativity. Japanese punk girl, purple highlights (representin the saints!), devil horns, a single piercing under her lip, black (default asian) hair, a little makeup, baggy pants with a nice open jacket/corset (from lets pretend) combo.

Think of a more adult sis from alpha protocol and you get the general idea.

Ah well new "****ed up fridays" trailer is out, it just showcases the stag tank, though you can see the full effect of the breast slider lol. And confirmation on the Russian voice, which consists of the line "Good bye".

http://www.saintsrow...ed-fridays-stag

It seems to be based on the Abrams or other western designs, but isn't a copy of any current AFV in the world that I know of at least.

Both tank and VTOL looked great. Good animations, good colors.... and rolling over the cars was awesome! You can squash 'em, I love that.

I wonder how squashed a car can be before you can't drive it anymore?

I plan to find that out.

I don't know, but I look forward to using the machine gun portion of the tank... Don't know why but I always preferred machine guns to explosive weapons.

I'm only complaining because I want the game earlier :)

Well I am of the opinion that any sandbox game needs as much time as possible to get rid of any bugs. I wouldn't mind waiting for skyrim and SRTT until next year actually.

Please don't crucify me!

@Ken

Oh I know, it comes out in just one day short of a month actually. (November 15, same as assassins creed revolutions and skyrim... my poor wallet) What I mean is when it comes to a sandbox game, I can wait. For a bethesda or obsidian game I usually wait a few months after release so patches and modders can have their way with it you know?

I don't think SRTT will be buggy though, its a console first game after all. However they are increasing support for pc and not just porting it this time. Multimoniter support!

Too late now. Discs are being manufactured and packaged at this point. I'm sure Saint's Row will be fine. I'm sure Skyrim will turn out ok as well even with the difficulties of using a new engine. As far as bugs go it's impossible to remove all bugs from a game, that's just how it is. Somebody at Bethesda recently said that sometimes the removal of certain bugs can actually be detrimental to the overall experience so they leave them in.

You misunderstand, I am aware its too late now, and I am happy with the current release date. If volition is truthful with the fact they have been working on SRTT since releaseing SR2 then I know bugs won't be a problem.

What I mean is, I don't mind delays for sandbox games when they happen. Skyrim is going to have terrible bugs no matter what, thats just a fact of a bethesda game, but it will still be fun.

They can find and patch bugs after release, I just want to play the damn game. At least, get my hands on the character creator.

I like how they have a triangle now for the body type, going all the way toward the tip to Strength for my female character myself. And for kicks, I'll be loving that sex apppeal slider.

What radio station do you prefer listening to/from which type of music is your playlist made up of? I listen to the rap station and most of my own playlist is rap. While the rap music on offer in SR2 isn't the best (I would prefer late eighties/early nineties West Coast and I haven't played SR1 yet), I prefer it to everything else. I just don't think any other music is appropriate for a game like this, although I think that the way other music is implemented in the game such as Pierce liking classical music and the Brotherhood liking heavy metal is cool.
I think that a Death Row-inspired soundtrack would be rather apt for this franchise. Maybe an intro to SRTT based on the intro to The Chronic: 'This is dedicated to the ****** that was down from day one: welcome to Death Saints Row'.

In SR2 I'm always either listening to classical or 80's pop. Though I'm hoping they add some 40s-50's standards as a station in SR3. (i.e. Fallout music). Would be perfect for driving around in my Hollywood convertible.

I don't recall Pierce liking classical. Unless you consider Neyo classical. Image IPB

He changes the music to classical once or twice. I forget which mission it's in.

Pierce does change the station to classical on you when you take him with you on a mission, he and the MC fight over the station, and pierce complains.

Then later when pierce is driving YOU, he chooses the station to classical, and the MC is too busy to deal with it. Both times the MC makes comments questioning his manliness.

In any case I usually listened to whatever station played take on me. That song got stuck in my head.

I want an awesome metal station for SR3.

I doubt it's going to happen though. Oh well.

I played that station, alternative rock and the rap station.

I like Wale's stuff a lot and was shocked to hear Ridin' In That Black Joint.  Then I decided just to buy the songs I really liked because I liked a mix of different genres.

The ability to create a custom station was a complete and utter shock, enjoyed crafting my own station!

Yeah the insane customization is what made SR2 so great. That and the ridiculous arcade-like gameplay that made you remember why GTA became popular in the first place.

Obivously, SR3 has to have at least as much customization or I'm going to be pretty disappointed.
