Is it because I'm too lazy to link that people are too lazy to copy and paste?
This is the same video I put up lol.

Why is there a blank post with a quote box of something I said here?

Exactly. Thats part of why minus the fact I like the Lore I have Space Marine on preorder is at it reminds me in a way of more old school shooters, where 5 shots did't kill you and you were a walking armory. And part of why I like Saints Row 2 more than one IS because of the zannieness, and getting away from the hood rat vibe of the first game. And why I look even more forward to this one  That and the Story of Saints Row isn't that bad if your into vengance and smacking down fools and building your own criminal empire.

I actully enjoyed the Story of SR2 more than GTA:4. And the fact I couldn't do **** in that game without it turning into a hot pursuit. Plus all the bull**** in the PC's life.

I mostly enjoyed Saints Row 2 for the character creation and customization options. I probably spent about the same time fiddling around with outfits as I did killing. The Third doesn't scream must have this year being sandwiched between too many other major releases though. I'd rather wait and see others give an indepth review about the customization options. If the developers made a real effort to expand upon it and provide more clothing (no DLC malarky either please) then I'll get it eventually.

Apperantly from whats been said it will be more robust, enough so they are releasing a CC Tool BEFORE the game comes out, as its to have more options and such. As to the Trailer seen it already lol, looks pretty fun.

And that's just the intro. Image IPB

But yeah, I've had it marked as a strong possibility for my GotY for a few months now. Glad to see all the humor is still intact. Johnny Gat is still pretty high on my list of supporting characters I never expected to like so much. And Shaundi is looking much better this time around.

Yeah, whatever people say about sillines of Saints Row compared to GTA and what not, I actually found it has an excellent writing and humor, with an awesome support cast. Pity that Shaundi is not voiced by Eliza Dushku this time around.

Oh and that 'falling from the plane shooting bad guys' scene is a clear homage to Shoot'Em Up :D

I never knew that was Eliza til you said that. Can't believe I never noticed it, since the voice is so recognizable.Image IPB

What I loved about SR2 (never played the first) was how expertly they mixed the funny with the serious bits. I wasn't expecting such a good story and acting when I picked it up earlier this year. Not to mention having multiple and exceptional voices for the player that really changed the feel based on which you picked. Bioware could pick up a few tricks from them.

WOW I read GI's cover story on that intro but it didn't hit me how awesome it would really be.  It was pretty cool up until he drops shawndi flys through the window of the plane kills some guys steals someone elses parachute and continues doing what he was doing before all that.
Wish they could've kept Eliza Dushku's voice for Shawndi but whatever.
Gat is still as badass as always.  And I had flashes of Jack Bauer when the SR leader took a knife to the stomach and didn't even flinch.  Seriously your character in these games is Jack Bauer if he was a gang leader!
Seriously I am so stoked for this game that it has bumped its away over f-ing Skyrim and Batman and AC Revelations thats how sold I am!

Your character in Saints Row is more like a Batman villain, without an actual Batman to stop him.

Hmm given the huge number of Civies you kill on purpose or mistake (YOU WILL KILL A FEW NO MATTER WHAT) its a given some of those had kids, meanign they may harbor hatred for you and given SW has some caves, they may fall in it and become Batman, or some other Hero, thus its important as the leader of the saints to either adopt all the Orphans, or have all of the orphanages to "mysteriously" catch on fire, with a gentleman that looks remarkablly like you setting the fires, while you were off playing Golf with the Mayor at his new beach resort home.

I loved SR2, especially the story. However I wish they wouldn't force our characters to be a psychopath. The MC did some horrible things that even made me pause.

Then again, im probably spoiled by bioware games that allow me to choose my actions.

I wonder if there will be some music on the radio channels that our MCs will be singing along to again in 'The Third' just like in SR2

There's this other funny running joke in SR2 with the MC and Pierce fighting over the radio continually. And on this one mission you're stuck in the back seat trying to shoot down helicoptors while Pierce has control of the radio and puts on 'Driveby music' and starts singing very badly.

I screwed up that mission so badly the first time due to laughing so hard. Just was not expecting that. Image IPB

From what we've seen of the trailers that interaction still seems to be in. Novemeber looks like a good month for gaming.

Looks fun, but I'm still recovering over how bad GTA: IV was. I will probably get it when it goes down to like $10.

HATED Saints Row 2, it was an unpolished mess. But this one definitely has my attention.
