Speaking of DLC, I just found out they included a DLC pack with the Strategy Guide. Features Ulthor gear, including another Sky Cycle, sniper rifle and operative outfit. All looks pretty neat, but not worth $29 for a game I already finished just fine without a guide.

Yeah, the Money Shot DLC. I would have paid for it separately to get the Ultor Interceptor jet-bike if I could. It's like the STAG bike; except it's available as soon as you get the penthouse crib, and has a much nicer color scheme. I expect Volition will sell it as DLC eventually, though. Ditto with the preorder Professor Genki stuff.

Well I finally finished, 42 hrs later and that's without even touching multiplayer. I ended up at lvl 46, killed nearly 5000 people. The game was better than I thought it would be in every respect: gameplay, graphics, writing, humor, you name it. I have two complaints though. The ending I picked had an anticlimactic boss fight. Way too easy. And secondly, it's clear they're setting things up for SR4, so it suffers from some sequalitus. All in all though, this is easily in my list of top ten games. A thoroughly enjoyable title.

To be honest they should have put more into the story like in the other games when it came to dealing with the gangs and the different Lieutenants. It would have made it better then it already was but either way it was awesome.

Also I'm wondering what other gangs will be capable of actually facing the Saints at this point. I know the Saints are going to war with the US government at some point lol.

Well I took a break and came back to this and nope.
I rushed through the story just cause I don't think I would have finished it if I didn't
As soon as the credits finish I quit and uninstalled.
HUGE disappointment. I thought this was going to mop the floor with Skyrim instead it disappears from my radar like blah. Everything that is fun about this game gets extremely old very fast.
They have the gall to kill Gat at the very start of the game and then Shaundi's character just pissed me off the entire time.

110% this. If Viola wasn't also the one that got kidnapped and brought to that statue at the end I would have just went after Killbane and let Shaundi die.

Hmm I didn't like Shaundi before SRTT so no biggy for me. Just went from crack **** to **** ****.

What pissed me off is they had a damn porn star voice Viola. I knew something was off and when the credits rolled...f*cking Sasha Grey. What were they thinking?

Anyway, as I said before, the gameplay is clearly what the team focused on and it's what made it a great time for me, even if it was somewhat low brow, blow-sh*t-up fun. they made everything so accessible and constantly rewarded you for taking risks. Not to mention all the fun weapons.

I was pretty skeptical about that as well before the game came out but I think she did pretty well. I didn't care what hell her previous occupation was as long as her voice acting wasn't terrible, which it wasn't.

Yeah who cares if she was voiced by a porn star. I knew it before the game came out and I basically stop caring soon afterwards. I liked Viola's character even though she is a bit annoying. Shaundi being pissed isn't really that bad to be honest. Hell the Boss is effectively worse than her but is allowed to be since The Boss is ****ing crazy lol.

Hell Shaundi even says losing Gat was like losing a family member to her which can explain how pissed she was. In general she really didn't complain that much other than being heavily skeptical of the Boss's insane plans that involved robbing a national guard armory and basically dropping her while in the sky to attempt to pull off a insane attempt to **** up the plane.

I don't care that she's a porn star, I care that her voice acting wasn't as good as the others. Sasha has experience in other avenues. Voice acting isn't one of them.

Oh, Xana is lovely.

That "porn star" woman is actually out of the porn business right now­. I read in some interviews that she wants do to more serious roles without using her body like before. Kudos to her voice acting debuts.

She takes it in the ass for a living. More power to her, I don't care. But she isn't a good voice actress.

Sasha Grey voiced Viola? Being unfamiliar with her voice, I had no idea. I was impressed by some what she said in a Rolling Stone interview years back. She's strong-willed, intelligent and ambitious. I respect that. It's a shame some people will write her off due to her past work.

As far as her voice acting in SRtT goes, I thought it was adequate. Definitely no worse than anyone else in the game. There were no dramatic emotional moments that required exceptional acting talent anyway. Yes, that includes Gat's death.

Moving on... the DLC flood for this game is underway. Two new crappy DLCs released days back, and two more are waiting in the wings. I hope Volition releases DLC for the female Decker outfit soon. Do want. The Z Style and Explosive Combat packs are underwhelming.
