Cyber punks. I expect them to be the bikers.

The third gang is Morning Star, which is the oldest gang of Steelport and the head of the Syndicate.

Cyber criminals, technically. Hackers. And from what I have seen, they ride in cars and trucks and I think i saw a pair on rollerblades hanging on to the back of a vehicle. I just want Matt's coat. That is an awesome coat.

Any word on what the rival gangs will be like? I'm kind of hoping for a true biker gang (like the Hell's Angels).

Three

Morning Star, which is a European group that deals primarily in the more uhh....human nature of the syndicate, prostitution, drugs, also arms Deal, and are the brains of the operiation.

The Deckers are your Cyber Punk/goth/emo guys that handle the money of the gang, and will fight you in more "creative" ways. Expect cyber attacks on saints property, taking control of the car your in, IED Strikes, drones, etc. Though they seem to be melee and speed fighters as well.

Then you have the luchadores, who are the gangs heavy hitters and enforces, expect them to be in your face with melee, Machinguns and large trucks. Oh yes Edit, I also seen one of them on a hog.

Then you have the US Military/Federal task force sent to combat you and the syndicate.

Apperantly you may have some, minor gangs but thats not confirmed.

But there are no gangs like the hells angels. If I had to label these as close to real world groups, I'ld go with

Luchadores being 1930's Italian mob, current Mexican Drug gang armies.

Morning star being the Russian Mafia.

Deckers, if hackers today really matterd.

But then you shoot steriods into each group and make the US law enforcement weaker. As the US in Saints row was hit by a number of bad earthquakes, hince stillwater being like it is. I mean the Saints have Airstrikes. I can't think of many or really any gangs with  UAV's and its own fighter bombers.

There's video on the Saints Row site of the player facing off against the Luchadors and the Deckers. The Luchadores are weapons dealing wrestlers and the Deckers seem to be a bunch of computer nerds.

Cyber Punks don't have british accents. It's a fact, I checked.^_^ On a serious note, they don't really look like a biker gang.

Thanks for the info, the Luchadores and the Morning star sound interesting, but the Deckers sound kind of meh.

Meh enough that I'll probably be trying to take them out first.

I'll most likely do like I did in two, play the first mission of each, and take out who's the bigger threat, while being the least effort first. So most likely the Deckers or Luchadores.

Morning star is the brains, but the Brains aren't good for much if you take out the Brawn and the cash.

Definitely gotta take out who's controlling the cash. Plus I learned that the Deckers are the reason the Saints start off broke in Steelport so that's even more motivation.

Yeah unless one of the other two ****** me off big time I'll be hitting the Deckers.

Anyways they had a video up from over in japan on the customization in the Character maker, and I have to say, so many options. You might be able to make pratically anyone or just go crazy with it.

*GASP* You monster!

And also

Yes that looks like it might be a fun weapon. Still I think I'll use the good Ole AK mainly.

Q&A part one is up, Neat  things of note, is Drugs are out of the game, as are food items it seems, how you'll heal now I wonder, but it seems the cross buttons have been given to off hand weapons, which are special strikes, cruise missiles, Airstrikes, etc. And hand throw weapons, like Gernades and the like.

It seems the Bonus points for driving style is still in, and there is far more clothing, going way past what was in the first two games easily. They said to have outdone them selves in this reguard.

On a disappointed note, at least for me, no more push backs, or some activities, such as Fuzz, and the Start menu has been revamped to allow for easier co-op play.

Going off of the video, if there are super hero costumes that allow you to fly that is gonna be crazy. I'll definitely be dressing up as a super hero a lot more if that's the case.

I don't think he was flying, looked more like he had jumped off a roof, or done a diving clothes line like seen in the Genki trailer. besides that would be silly like "Oh yeah we have all this stuff you can wear, but only these matter"

SRTT is crazy, but not a cop out devoid of any structure.

An awesome new video for the Genki activity was posted on joystiq. It also showcases a few cool features as well.

"Hilarity ensues November 15th." That should be the tagline of the Professor Genki trailers.

Great, Yuri Freakin' Lowenthal is the leader of the Deckers... Yeah, definitely will be taking them out first.

I Saints Row 2 I took out the yakuza like gang first because they had samurai swords and motorcycles in their territory. Plus, the fighting style you get from them was my favorite. Too bad you couldn't dual wield the swords.

Any word if they're back?

Also, on the Professor Genki thing, it's inspired by those wacky Japanese game shows.

Is it going to be an actual thing you get to participate in?

Regarding some SR2 side missions: for the Insurance Fraud and Crowd Control and Mayhem, the areas you are put in cycle through and some are easier than others. To make the later missions easier, you find out which area is the easiest for you and then keep losing until you get back to that area.

I just looked up which ones other people found easier and they were the easiest ones for me as well.  That's how I completed all of those.  The first one I did was Insurance Fraud for the Infinite Stamina.

In SR2 I have to get all the achievements again because with my new hard drive, old one I lost all my data from, I decided to use a new profile and have to get the achievements again from games I've finished previously.

He did sound very familiar. I'm not sure if that is him or not. If it is that's 2 Saints Rows in a row.

It's definitely him, I can recognize his voice anywhere. He was in SR2... One of the Ronin guys, I forgot about that.

The guy always has to play "emo" looking characters.
