I Saints Row 2 I took out the yakuza like gang first because they had samurai swords and motorcycles in their territory. Plus, the fighting style you get from them was my favorite. Too bad you couldn't dual wield the swords.

Also, on the Professor Genki thing, it's inspired by those wacky Japanese game shows.

Is it going to be an actual thing you get to participate in?


Regarding some SR2 side missions: for the Insurance Fraud and Crowd Control and Mayhem, the areas you are put in cycle through and some are easier than others. To make the later missions easier, you find out which area is the easiest for you and then keep losing until you get back to that area.

I just looked up which ones other people found easier and they were the easiest ones for me as well.  That's how I completed all of those.  The first one I did was Insurance Fraud for the Infinite Stamina.

In SR2 I have to get all the achievements again because with my new hard drive, old one I lost all my data from, I decided to use a new profile and have to get the achievements again from games I've finished previously.


Not only are swords back, but apparently you get to duel wield them this time.

Also, more new footage this time of the female MC.

Yeah a new Q&A video is up also, but it didn't cover much minus, that we will see more customization options on Cribs, and cars, however flying units and boats STILL you won't be able to change them in any manner, which stinks imo. The level design I'm also thinking is in between SR1 and SR2. But who knows might be bigger. And there are 25 weapons, I'm assuming this means in the main game and doesn't count those in the preorder pack.

Is that the same Q&A where he answers the obvious questions like "can I play as a woman" and "can I un-pixilate my nekkid character"?

Yeah, it sucks that you still can't customize the flying and sea vehicles - how hard is it to put a helipad on the roof of a garage or a drive-in dock on the water somewhere? Even just colors and decals would be better than nothing. Lord knows I spend more time in those than in any crib.

It'd be nice if they let us design the gang clothing templates out of the clothes we can buy, rather than just choosing presets. The whole system is already there for the MC anyway.

Reminds me of Crash mode on Burnout very much. Not bad Volition, not bad at all. I wasn't a big fan of insurance fraud in the previous games but this looks a lot more pain inducing...uh I mean fun. Yeah that's it, fun.

You can.

Up to four styles in fact, As In if you want your gang to have soldiers, spacemen, Furries, or something from your own mind you can. Up to four templates can show up for your gang members that you design, plus pre-set styles if I remember right.

I plan to customize most of my guys to look like Soldiers most likely.

Oooh, at last my plans for an all pirate themed gang will go into action! The ninja themed gang of the last one just felt so wrong.

I hope the ninja outfit(s) in this game look better than the one in the second game did.

Well, it wasn't bad, but with how I made my female character in Saints Row 2, pretty much anything made her look fat. I also hope this time for a female character to look decent with 100% Musculature that you don't have to increase the Fat attribute so much that the character actually looks fat.


The ninja gang was my favorite one, so I would want another one.

They also fixed the physics. In all the games I see the MC recovers pretty quickly after getting hit by something, or even just falling. No more getting hit by a stupid police car, then taking forever to get up while being gunned down by everyone in sight. >.>

Also fun fact, I think the voice actor for the "caucasian female" voice is Laura Bailey. Loved her performance in nier, so Im looking forward to it despite my dissapointment of the last VO not retrurning, but eh.

We do have more voices,
seven total. Four for both genders. However what I am saying is that the
previous voice actor for caucasian isn't returning. Which makes me sad
because that is what I used. Now the new voices are..

For female we have Caucasian, hispanic, russian, (unkown but assumed black), and zombie.

For males we hace Caucasian, hispanic, two unkowns, and zombie.

No, I meant the female MC in the video.

However another fun fact is that shaundi's voice actor from SR2 will not be returning, we have a new voice actor.

Thanks. They are definitely not what I expected. I expected really nerdy looking folks with pocket protectors for some reason.

But this is definitely better.

Really? Well then, I may just preorder then ... damn, I may be locked into this game all the way to ME3 in March next year at this rate.

The Deckers look like hipster Ronins crossed with Tron. All that neon and especially the neon star on that guy's jacket makes me think that whenever they roll up, Cobra Starship songs are going to be playing on their radios. :P
