I was told to log on to this forum and post this here.

I went to an EA Private event to play their Q4 releases, plus Mass Effect 3, on Monday. I'm not gonna sit here and prove I went to one, because any Bioware member browsing the forum will no doubt be able to validate that this kind of thing happens. As an aside, I hope the people on this site are more welcoming and less rude than those on gamefaqs when I posted this there.

I was just trying to feedback to Bioware directly as the feedback forms we got at the event were sparse and didn't seem game orientated.

My issue, after playing the demo (which I was told was a fairly recent build) was that of camera angle. I was playing as a Sentinel Shepard, and I found that whenever I tried to use a power, the camera would focus not on my target, but sit behind Shepard so that I could see only him. Whilst his armour was rendered very well, it made aiming a little tricky, and often times I couldn't tell whether my power had connected or not, seeing as I had no visual aid to help with this (Shepard being in the way).

I hadn't noticed this as an issue when playing Mass Effect 2, and I thought it was of large enough importance to air in a place that might be able to shed some light on the demo I played, or on the development choices.

If I'm posting this in the wrong place, then please do direct me to the right place to put this.

I just -really- didn't like the camera angle.

Make a topic there. It might start a flame war but devs post on that forum often enough that it will be noticed.

I played the demo. I knew something was going to happen to the little boy when he said you can't help me. What a gut wrenching scene. The music sealed the deal. If anyone was still wondering what this was about that scene did it.
