Apart from that they might give your character the second chance with characters from ME1 and ME2 even if you did not romance on them or do it with someone else.

It is still possible for a romance with samara but I will be pleasantly surprised on that one. (if they added samara then they would have to add mordin or even grunt for LI's)

With all the different directions you could have went with the romances in the first two games, combined with the new romances in this one, I don't know how they're going to factor in everything, like the jealousy scenes they wanted to do. Should be interesting to see how they handle it.....

i agree that is why i will be pleasantly surprised if they add more romance options during ME3 with new character just enable people to have another chance or maintain.

I cannot wait to see the jealousy scenes (which I am sure there will be considering if you romanced in ME1 and ME2 its bound to happen). Do not know who would win in an argument miranda or ashley

Samara would have been a great LI option in ME2. It might have been fun to break through that code of hers, and find a person underneath. But she made it fairly clear in ME2 that even though she is attracted to Shepard, she's sworn off romance, and that's that.

A Samara romance in ME3 would make little sense because of that scene in ME2, IMO. I mean if she wasn't willing to hook up with Shepard then, when her death may have been imminent, why would she suddenly change course in ME3?

That, and even though I think a Samara romance in ME2 would have been interesting, I think the 'In another time, another life' rejection scene is ironically the best romance scene in that game. I wouldn't want to ruin that by making 'another time, another life' mean 'another time, in Mass Effect 3.'

Of course. My only issue here is that people use 'retcon' argument as if any of the characters already had a declared specific sexual orientation. Tali and Garrus tought us that lack of a romance options in previous games due to various reasons does not preclude the possibility of a romance in future.

Hey news!
Tali and Garrus were suppose to be ME1 romances, but were cut out before even VA session about it started and later on gay romances with Ashley and Kaidan.

And Garrus nor Tali said Shepard is either attractive nor unattractive in ME1. They never even talked about similar subject.


Also Garrus and Tali NEVER in ME2 said Shepard is attractive physically to them.
