Pretty much what the topic says. I downloaded ME2 from the EA Store and installed it on my first hard drive, then later moved it to my second hard drive (I have C for Windows + stuff and D for games) and now that I'm trying to install the Appearance Pack it says ME2 isn't installed. I tried if copying ME2 to C:\\blah blah\\Program Files (default location on Win7) would help but no.

I never had any issues with installing DLC until now, however I hadn't installed any after moving ME2 to the D drive. Still, moving the game back to C didn't help either. I wouldn't want to waste my bandwidth in downloading the whole game again from the EA Store and doing a fresh intall for ALL my DLC. :( I also can't uninstall ME2 from the Win7 control panel since it doesn't appear there for some reason, but I'm not sure if just deleting the folder will leave some dodgy marks in the Windows registry...

Basically, you have screwed up your install by moving the files about. Windows isnt smart, when you move files and folders, it doesnt maguically search through your registry and makes the changes for you.
Delete ME2, use a program such as CCleaner or Glary Utilities to remove registry entries, as well as its entry in "add/remove programs" under control panel.
Re-download and reinstall. Select a custom installation and you can tell it which drive you want it to install to.

I did what you suggested and it works! Thank you! I guess there's no easy way out for me if I want to move all my games to the other drive... Better to suck it up and do clean re-installs of each. Also thanks for letting me know about CCleaner, I used to stay away from registry/generic PC cleaners since I thought they were mostly adware that did more harm than good but I just cleared a lot of stuff from my PC on CCleaner and start-up and pretty much everything is way faster.
