Hi guys,

Not sure if this was caused by the recent Server Outage/Changes but I was wondering if anybody else had experienced similar.

SPOILERS AHEAD - As I will be discussing specific entries in the Story Feed.

I have done two proper playthroughs of Dragon Age Origins on 360, one as a Human Noble Warrior, and a second (Which has been played up to the Landsmeet) as a Dalish Elf Rogue.

Both of these have been played through whilst connected both to Xbox Live and signed in to the Dragon Age servers.

The major server outage occurred a few hours into my first playthrough, so I've had no real opportunity to compare things before and after, as it were, but in both playthroughs I've experienced some pretty spurious game events being thrown in, several hours before they could have occurred, in the Story Feed for each character here on the Bioware Social Network site.

In both cases key game events were reported in the feed long before they ever happened.

In my Human Noble Warrior playthrough at 5:33:49 Rendon Howe is announced as having been killed. At that point in the game I had gone straight from Lothering to Redcliffe. I was playing through my first proper frely chosen game area, and had not even been to Denerim yet, let alone reached the pre-Landsmeet section where this occurs.

Later, at 37:30:31, an entry was placed for 'Loghain's Execution' and 37:42:12 an entry for 'Alistair as Ferelden's Ruler'. Again I had not reached Denerim for the Landsmeet. These entries were posted to my feed during my playing through the Dalish/Werewolves section of the game. No such choices had been made. Physically they could not BE made yet.

41:09:42 - 'Anora as Ferelden's Ruler'. Another rogue entry. I'm still wandering around an abandonned Elven Temple hunting Witherfang. I had not completed THAT task when the following three entries all came at lost.

41:27:06 - 'A Noble Alliance' apparently I've married Anora, now?
41:34:21 - 'Anora Sent Away' and now she's been sent to the cloister
41:42:25 - 'Alistair's Execution' WHAT NOW???!

All further entries on the feed were correct. I still had Orzammar to complete, and the Landsmeet. Everything worked out fine. But it was more than a little annoying to have so many possible story sections spoiled for me long before I got to make ANY of the choices which would have allowed me to effect them.

I wrote this off as a duff playthrough. Hopefully a one off. Sadly, there was no such luck.

My second playthrough as a Female Dalish Elf Rogue had similar spurious entries in the story feed...

7:42:32 - 'Rendon Howe Killed'. I had not yet even gotten to Lothering. Ostagar had just fallen to the Darkspawn, I was talking to Flemeth at her hut. I saved after the conversation conpleted and this came up in the story feed.

34:44:55 - 'The Death of the Archdemon' Triggered while sorting out the Mage's Tower, as my second freely chosen game area.

48:29:28 - 'Loghain's Execution'
48:38:54 - 'Alistair as Ferelden's Ruler'

Again both of these posted to the feed while in the Elven Temple defeating the Werewolves.  As was:

50:57:15 - 'A Royal Alliance' suggesting Alistair and Anora would marry.

When I returned to the Dalish camp, having slayed Witherfang, I received the following:

51:08:39 - 'Anora as Ferelden's Ruler'.

Followed by:

51:16:36 - 'A Noble Alliance'
51:24:44 - 'A Noble Alliance'

Now these two really ARE spurious, as they are both specific to the Human Noble playthrough. A Dalish Female Elf CANNOT marry Anora. My feed says otherwise, apparently...

To date that's as far as that has gone. My Dalish playthrough is just about to go into the Landsmeet. To date those are the only odd items in the feed.

Has anybody else been experiencing similar issues? Am I alone here? It's greatly frustrating, and I can't help but think the Server Outage is the likely cause.

Can't help at all.

Odd that it should do that and I am tempted to think perhaps the wrong info got passed onto the servers (it seems consistent and not random from your description).

However, it doesn't seem to be a game problem but a forum issue. As such I would suggest posting on the forum tech issues boards (the boards specific for forum problems just to clarify) to see if the users there have more info for you.

Yeah, I've posted over there now, too.

Anybody else experienced anything similar? Seriously, check your feeds if you've played recently.

Kinda surprised that nobody else has experienced this.

Thought I'd post an update on this, as I have since imported my Human Noble Warrior playthrough into Awakening. And new and interesting errors have turned up in the new story feed for that playthrough...

Bear in mind that I am now at Vigil's Keep and Amaranthine, but for some reason at 1:16:47 of Awakening I got 'Anora's Support'. From Origins. Wrong game.

Then at 1:26:35 of Awakening I got 'The Landsmeet'. Again, wrong game.

But then, something even odder...

2:14:20 - 'A Reunion with Gorim' - Not only the wrong GAME but the wrong ORIGIN. That one should only ever come up when playing the Dwarf Noble origin...

Seriously, has nobody else seen this? Is nobody else checking their story feed on Xbox?
