That list is silly.

That list is not silly. Most of it I agree with. Why C&C is ahead of Starcraft is beyond me though.

OK, some of that list is silly. Like having Command and Conquer on top of Starcraft right after talking about how innovative and genre-changing Starcraft was.

And X-COM at #1? Really?

Well the fact that they included System Shock 2 on the list tells me these guys had at least some idea of what they were doing. But I have to agree with Ashbery, Deus Ex down the ladder at 21? What the heck is that about? I really don't have any problems with the list but there's no way Crysis can be higher than Deus Ex...

I sure hope that guy in the X-Com screenshot has some action points left.

Crysis at #17. Apparently I wasn't playing the same game as these guys, nothing about that game except the graphics deserved to be anywhere near a top 25 list.

The list is fine, but of all the Lucasfilm Games, it should have been Monkey Island I or II in that Grim Fandango spot.

Damnit, now you're making me wanna play Baldur's Gate 2 again. Although, that will probably help easing the wait til the 6th... hmmm.

I thought it was a pretty good list. I don't know if I would have put XCOM at the top of the list, but top 5 I definitely would--it was certainly one of the most engaging PC games I've ever played, and the graphics have actually aged pretty well, especially compared to, say, Starcraft.

I knew one of the Civ games would be there... IMO all of the top 5 deserved the title. I've never played Crysis, but as shooters go, it's certainly highly popular.

It's an article, not a poll. Those "results" mean nothing.

It's the top 25...not top 100. Kinda hard to include everyone favorite game in just 25 entries.

That said, Sword of the Stars is not there. A travesty. The list needs more love for excellent canadian development studios.Blizzard? HA! Bio and Kerberos blow it out of the water every day of the week (and twice on Sunday).

Where are my Gold Box Games?!? Baldur's Gate doesn't exist without Pool of Radiance.

At least Rome: Total War made it into the top 10. Most complete strategy game I've ever played. You know you've got a complete game when you discover that the Senate hates you so much, they send you on the mission.......to commit suicide.

lmao at the list, expecially at x-com as best game of all time, was the guy who made the list a dev of x-com? it was a fun game but nothing exceptional...

tie fighter btw is one of my fav game but dont think i had ranked it 2 (well actually ranked 1st considering X-coml, is ranked 1st. again lol)

same can be said for civ IV (boring) vs original civ (awesome) and a game that kinda started a genere

Broken Swords, Monkey Islands (1-3), Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Commander Keen, Warcraft 2, Age Of Empires... Even Heroes of Might and Magic is missing!

Oh well, I guess this list is still a hell of a lot better than the usual attempts to list the best games ever.
