OK, finally got around to playing Leliana's Song. Is there anyway to save Tug?
He was such an awesome little hottie with a great voice and dialog. I would MUCH rather have seen the whining, pansy elf on the rack.
If I were Leliana, I would have dropped Marjolaine and done Tug.

No, Tug always dies. Silas takes his place, as far as combat is concerned.

It's part of the story for him to die. As an easy way to create a dramatic moment, some games have to kill off a character. Too bad it had to be Tug, as I liked him too.

Tug is voiced by Mark Meer. True story.

Well, it wouldn't be as dramatic if they killed off characters you didn't like.

I suppose, or people might actually be cheering after finding out that someone died, rather than being upset.

I actually breathed a sigh of relief as I was sure Sketch was going to get killed off and he might be my favourite elf mage ever, my favourite characters usually die so I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong.

I see... Sadly it would have made it less linear if you got to choose which one to save. And a bit more of a challenge at the end without a mage. Ah-well...
