Be careful what you wish for. You just might get copious amounts of man boobs with that man ass.
Hmmm, if its giggle worthy I may approve.
...only for the lulz I hope

Now I'm sorry, but riddle me this, who the hell has sex for the first time, fully clothed?

The funny thing about that, is that it was much more gratuitous than the nudity in ME1's sex scenes. I'd rather Bioware include tasteful or suggested nudity than long lingering camera shots of a fully clothed NPC's ass.

I couldn't agree with you more, Mass effect is a very adult universe, it deals with poverty, racism and so on.

I loled. Anyways my 2 cents. meh nudity. Doesnt need it in games. Though I do have to say if your doing it there are easy ways that BioWare can get around it. Look at AC-Brotherhoods scene with Catherina and Ezio. It was a good scene.
But I still cant believe some people are so passionate about them wanting their nudity. OMG need moar boobs.

Well... Jack, Miranda, Thane already decided to give that a go in ME2.

It barely has any. The occasional blood splatter and burning enemy are nothing compared to many games out right now. Off the top of my head, both of the Dead Space games (though admittedly those are action horror) and Gears of War games have enemies that can be torn limb from limb. Not saying that Mass Effect needs to change, but really it isn't bad at all.
Sex scenes really aren't all that important to me in video games. The fade to black scenes work perfectly, without the risk of getting really awkward. Besides, there are plenty of other areas in the game Bioware could focus development on instead.
Project Overlord and Husks, while not being horrifically gory, are further down the gore spectrum than the distance the game goes down the 'suggestive themes' spectrum.
PG-13 nudity wouldn't be terrible, but at the same time, I don't think it's absolutely necessary. I do see the comedy potential though, be it male or female alien nudity, even if you wanted to move towards NC-17 nudity. Granted, it could get to the point where we're talking about gore more than suggestive themes... ha ha.

The Mass Effect series is rated M for mature. That supposedly means that you have to be 18 years of age to purchase the game and that the content is for adults. With that in mind, I recently purchased and completed playing another RPG, Witcher 2, and I loved the nudity scenes in that.
Don't get me wrong, I thought that ME had tasteful use of nudity. However, ME2 blew chunks on the sex scenes with the exception of Tali for obvious reasons. Further, I realize that BioWare took a lot of unwarranted heat when they released Mass Effect and so toned it down in ME2.
Let us hope that BioWare again examines the story and if such an interlude is to be put in the game, it will return to the standard set by the original Mass Effect and not continue the ridiculous tactic they took with ME2.
Unless of course they want to play second fiddle to their competitors.
People make way too much of a deal about Mass Effect not having enough nudity. Really, I think it's IMMATURE to complain about no nudity. Sex and swearing don't actually make media better, despite what some so-called "Adults" will yell you.
And for ANYONE who really wants to see sex, there's an ENTIRE INDUSTRY dedicated towards that. I'm here for the game.
And if you still want to see the characters like that, there's always Deviantart, and Rule34.net, and Fornax, all free.

Do think they deviated slightly in ME2. After all the entire storyline is based around relationships, human and alien. This is regardless of whether you choose to take it further. I would rather they take the sex scenes out totally than have them play out as they were in ME2.
Shepard and team-mates in both games go to hell and back, metaphorically speaking. People who do this are going to form stronger bonds than "normal" people would, so you would expect more than the wishy-washy mess that was ME2. (They did the same with DA2).
