As my title states i have now given up on playing a game i love due to it crashing constantly. this makes me sad since i now have to find another game to play. I've tried reinstalling, adjusting settings in many ways and checking through posts to see if i could find any help but nothing works.

I guess you have to give more information on what happens or on your system if you want help...
I have been playing DA2 for 60 hours now and it never crashed.

The majority of people who attempt to solve problems of this nature on their own do not do so in a systematic manner, and overlook a seriously large part of the origins of conflict, which is the ton of background programs and OS services that they allow to accumulate through laziness and general poor system management. I will repost the guide to systematizing the procedures.
