What Game Would You Wish Got A Sequel/Or New Game?

I didn't play the 1st one, but I had a great time with the second! Quite a lot of really nice touches for those of us who are Comic Book fans.

Anyways, in particular - Thief, Hitman, KotOR, Arcanum, VtMB, King's Bounty and Mirror's Edge. I'd also add a new Jedi Knight, Alpha Protocol, Supreme Commander and Age of Mythology. That would be cool.

Shining Force was an awesome series, there can never be enough of those games. I just miss Climax Entertainment really.
Freespace 1 & 2 were also great, I was really expecting a third to come out. They still play fairly well these days, I'm guessing space flight sims died out around then after about six years of hardcore titles like the X-Wing series and Wing Commander games. Over-saturated market?
I wish Bioware stuck with creating a full third game for the Baldur's Gate series instead of downgrading it to an expansion pack.
It would be nice if there was another Guardian Heros, that game was classic, especially playing with friends. Even better than Golden Axe.
Hmm, another Battlezone game would be good too. I loved the atmosphere of the first game with the cold war being fought in space. Much of that was lost in the second game, despite having better graphics and control. Fighting aliens was somehow not nearly as fun as fighting Russians in space.
Dune: Battle for Arrakis needs a remake...too bad Westwood was burnt to the ground. But, it's still the grandaddy of all RTS games as far as I'm concerned. It would be nice to see it given a full, faithful treatment with authentic designs from the books instead of the failed movies or series. Such a great science fiction story, destined to be given the garbage treatment in nearly every media it's put in. Dune 2000 is likely the closest thing we'll get. There was another, more recent remake but it looked far too much like it was just Command and Conquor...in a desert.
A Neverwinter Nights 3 would be great with some updated graphics, and a working Z-axis for climbing, flying and swimming...no official campaign required as long as there is a toolset. I still have nightmares of grinding my teeth at the writing for NWN 1, that story was ROUGH. I miss the freedoms of character creation of the 3rd edition rules. DA 2 has stricter class rules than 1st edition D&D.
Age of Wonders could use another sequel. I enjoy the first game still, but never got into the second game.
Ah, I am running out of ideas but know there should be some more I need to write down...so I'll just say BALLOON FIGHT!!! Yes, remake Balloon Fight with gore, nudity, cussing and of course, multiplayer!

I'd also enjoy a direct sequel to New Vegas...not necessarily set in Vegas, but the overall storyline has a lot of room for a sequel...if it saves your choices from the first game, even better.
Stuntman 3 could have some promise if a good developer was put in charge.
Rainbow Six Vegas' gameplay but in a different setting and more RPG features would be sweet.

- Zork. Come on, Activision, finish off the Magic Trilogy! It's only been 15 years, damnit!
- Space Quest. Come on Activision, have Tell Tale make Space Quest 7! It's only been about 15 years, damnit!
- Ultima. But that's looking more and more likely anyway.
- Wing Commander. But that's looking more likely too for similar reasons to the Ultima series.
- Elite. Yeah, 4 is not likely to happen now, but at least there is Oolite!
- Repton. Hee, bet 95% of this forum doesn't know this one. Superior Interactive, you still out there? A new game would be lovely.
- Might and Magic. The ones I played (World of Xeen-Clouds/Darkside) were fun!

I want BioWare to just put a new wrapper on DAO and sell the same game. I'm sure they'd get a lot of people to praise it for being faithful to the 1st game in every way.

and I loved the early Suikodens
...And I really liked the deception/kagero/trapt series (and theres nothing else like it)
or maybe another Runabout (peaked with the Dreamcasts Super Runabout)
or maybe Camelot can regain control of Shining Force and relaunch that...
or a new Dragon Force...or Skies of Arcadia ...or....

Fable needs a good sequel, just the demo for Fable 3 was awful.
Primal
Rainbow Six
Legacy of Kain
A new Oddworld game
Freedom Fighters
Psychonauts
Beyond Good and Evil
There are probably more that I've forgotten about, or what would have made the list 6 months ago that are now getting new games, so that's good at least.

Neverwinter Nights (Two games isn't enough. Where's my update?!)
Wing Commander (Sequel or reboot. I don't care which. I want this series to make a comeback.)
Panzer Dragoon
Star Control (Part two hinted at a sequel. Stop torturing me with the wait!)
Temple of Elemental Evil (I'd like to play the Against the Giants campaign.)
Jade Empire
Phantasy Star (Okay, you guys had fun with the lame mini MMOs. Give me a proper RPG. kthxbai.)
ToEE !
BG2 had the best story and characters for a CRPG, but the best solution for tactical combat in D&D rules was this game.
Sadly it wasnt finished to its full potential <_<

PS Seagloom - there's someone doing a conversion mod of Against the Giants for NWN2, I think. Or there was a while ago, anyway x

Good choice. Those games were a ton of fun.ErichHartmann wrote...
A revival of the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series (Outcast is still my all time favorite Star Wars game).
I'd also vote for a new No One Lives Forever game. The way they used comedy in a game along with epic moments like sword fighting while in a mobile home flying around in a tornado. So great.

And of course a worm-riding minigame.
I would love to see a return to first-person party based RPGs, like Wizardry, Bard's Tale, and the Might & Magic games. So many RPGs now where you either go solo or with only 2-3 other party members now-a-days. Let me travel around with a fellowship/death-squad of six! Hopefully made up of characters that I create.
