Reading now.
As for "krogan princess" why can't I shake this vision from my head of a krogan wearing a tiara and Princess Toadstool's pink dress and white gloves? Further, why (against all reason) do I think this is completely awesome?

The article didn't say much but the Krogan princess made it worth it!

Mordin:"Shepard your Krogan Princess is on another homeworld!"
Garrus:"Commander... look another green pipe. I think it's some sort of relay."
Shepard:"I should go."
Hmm interesting article, though rather vague. Of course it's rare for me to find IGN to be informative on anything. Still good to know that Mordin is most likely a Cameo/Temp Squadmate deal for sure now.

Also looking forward to the female Krogan. Maybe we'll get to see some female Salarians, Turians, etc. as well. Though what I'm looking for the most-- Tali unmasked. If I don't get to see what a Quarian looks like under that helmet, I may just end up screaming. Lol.

S'cuse me?Shepard and crew have journeyed to the Salarian homeworld, Sur'Kesh, to rescue a Krogan princess. Yes, she's crazy hot

This love triangle will be resolved by the end of Mass Effect 3, so look forward to walking off into the sunset with Liara. I mean, seriously, who else would you want to be with -- Kaidan?
FFS, can someone manage to find a writer that is not going to crap on other characters, please? It's bad enough that Bioware itself forces Liara down our throats directly at the expense of the other love interests, do article writers have to do that too? It's getting extremely aggravating.
I've never actually managed to understand why some people deliberately kill off players that they thought were annoying due to the fanbase bias until just this moment. I can honestly say that this is the moment that I dearly hope that it is possible to kill Liara off in ME3.

Been waiting years to do this.

Yeah, the quote in the article was kind of annoying to me too, because.... yeah I would rather walk off with Kaidan lol, but when has Bioware shoved Liara down our throats? The only LI I saw heavily featured in marketing and such was Miranda, and that's just because of "DAT ASS" I'd imagine. Do you mean because Liara got to get some closure during LotSB? I just figure that's a taste of what we'll get with the previous romances in ME3. (or I really hope so.)

The writer has impeccable taste and judgment.
Beg to differ with you and the writer.
BTW, I was in Gamestop yesterday and they said that they were told to expect ME3 on January 29th. Of course their date could be off but it seems reasonable.

- Liara can easily ninjamance you in ME1.
- Liara was specifically given her own DLC for ME2, which included the option to continue her romance.
- Ashley/Kaidan were never even mentioned by Liara in LotSB whereas she will reference every single other one.
- Liara was given extreme prominence in the Genesis comic (see: the difference in panels when you choose Liara and when you choose someone else. Choosing Liara gets an image of her in the foreground with a happy expression; choosing Ashley/Kaidan gives you much a smaller image of them in the background with no expression at all.)
- Kaidan specifically was referenced as a 'good kid' in the Genesis comic despite the fact that he's two years older than Shepard.
- Liara was given her own comic series.
