I hope we get the opportunity to torture and kill Cerberus operatives/Illusive man very horrifically in ME3

I want my Paragon Shepard to look him in the eye and dialogue the crap out of him, with at least three persuade options and a couple interrupts; to shove back in his face how pathetic and small-minded his humans first outlook is; to denounce every single one of the experiments that Shepard has been forced to stop; to irrevocably change his mind and remind him of the man he used to be, so that he rams his base into a Reaper and goes out in a blaze of glory.
Then my Renegade Shepard can shoot him in the head with a one-liner and start running the organization herself.

In ME3 Bioware should really give us the opportunity to go "Space Punisher" on Cerberus. The organization as a whole has really crossed the moral event horizon plenty of times and now that they are targeting Shepard in ME3 it is time to show no mercy. My Shepard is very fond of the "Pay evil unto Evil" trope and is looking forward to killing members of Cerberus in ME3 and hopes to kill the Illusive man the same way Garrus brutally killed a batarian slaver. Call me psycho but I've just had enough of these guys.

Which I actually think would be more gratifying. Screw those giant metal squids, lets break their kneecaps.

Surely you see the problem with this line of thinking? Although that’s not necessarily a bad thing to have the option to do, it would be interesting to play Shepard that way. Don't think bioware will let you do it tho. It could create allot of issues for them.

I want Cerberus destroyed and TIM pushing up daisies, but torture? Then Shep is as big a Despot as TIM is, I would rather Shep retain some semblance of humanity and not become a monster himself.
Have any of not seen "Man on fire", "Taken", "Sin City," or watched an episode of 24 before? Besides if it bothers you so much then don't take the option.

They can be. A Sole Survivor Shepard can still feel pretty vengeful for what happened on Akuze. In the movie "Taken" Bryan Mills was ultimately concerned with saving his daughter but was completely ruthless towards his enemies on his way to do so (to the point of cruelty even). Likewise, Shepard could mercilessly kill Cerberus operatives since they are targeting him and brutally interrogate the ones that know why are attacking him and his friends and to find the location of the Illusive man if they know it (similarly to how Bryan Mills interrogated that one sex slaver to find his daughter).

TIM: Shepard, please I have one last wish
Shepard: Last wish? I wish you had more time

I can respect the Illusive Man as an enemy or ally. I don't plan on destroying Cerburus either, I plan on taking control of it. My own personal army. Sure as hell beats a "I'm such a great person" paragon speech after destroying their base.

Sometimes I envy the people that actually get into their characters enough to be mad at the Illusive Man. As it is, I just think he's got style, and it would be a shame to [even have the option to] kill him off in ME3.
I love TIM too much to be able to kill him off. The other characters can't match his level of awesome.

:innocent:
Them trying to kill you in the past on those side missions, killing an innocent Alliance Admiral to maintain secrecy, almost getting you killed/captured in several instances with the Collectors. Oh and those experiments that ended up releasing cloned Rachni and Thorian Creepers on the Galaxy. Absolutely harmless. Studying the effects of Dragon Teeth on human Colonists is cool too. And the Biotic Camps teating children like livestock was necessary too. Injecting Grayson's daughter with funky chemicals to make her more powerful, yet unstable? Totally safe, and did not backfire against Cerberus. Using an autustic savant to control the Geth by hooking him to uncomfortable contrapations? Totally humane.
Also let us not forget Cerberus deliberately lead Alliance marines (along with default Shepard) into a nest of Threwsher Maws to study all that. Not really an issue they just about killed Shepard for science in the first place. Science is important afterall. It's okay to risk lives if it gains you knowledge.
But I trust the Illusive Man explicitly, as Kelly would say. He's the only one trying to get Collector/Reaper Technology *cough* I mean trying to save Colonists from getting abducted by the Collectors. The Alliance are no good dirty rats for not going into the Terminus Systems to save those innocent people with their fleets and starting a galactic war! (That likely would leave Earth utterly unprepared for a Reaper Invasion.) Damn cowardly Anderson trying to take down Cerberus with the Turians. He was totally trying to kill my Shepard I know it! Not that he gave me the Normandy, helped me become a Spectre, or freed the Normandy to stop Saren. No no that's all make-believe.
I believe in the Illusive Man. He's only trying to advance Humanity's position in the galaxy, and certainly not his own, because he is a selfless person who makes hard decisions at his own expense. If sacrificing countless human lives is what it takes, even if for little or no purpose, so be it. Humanity will perserve and become stronger as a result. Cerberus will make us strong! We don't need stinking aliens to help us. None of our technology comes from them or anything! As soon as the Reapers are dead I say either kill or enslave them all. Screw you Wrex, Liara, Tali, Garrus, Mordin, Thane, Grunt, Samara, Morinth, and Legion. None of you are fit to be in my sight! Crawl on the ground like the alien worms you are! Because you will be once Cerberus leads Humanity and controls the Council!
/sarcasm
I dunno if I'd go so far as to torture Cerberus folk or T.I.M. But I certainly have no qualms punching him in the face or shooting him in the leg. Thanks for reviving me, but you're still little more then a power-hungry megalomaniac wanna-be dictator. I'm going to have pass on that.
Gotta say Cerberus is basically the Galactic Empire in the position of the Rebel Alliance. So why anyone wants to make their Shepard into Darth Vader seems pretty retarded to me. I'd rather be the Emperor if I believed that strongly in Human Imperialism.
