I want to go meet him with Miranda. I will be good cop and tell him that he is under arrest, but Miranda being the sexy and wonderful women she is will shoot him. Then she will take over and become the new leader and because Miranda is nice and kick ass, especially if you romance her, Cerberus will aid you and other civilisations and integrate into the Alliance or the Council.

i dont get why so many support TIM and dont want him dead. they spent the entirity of ME1 doing bogus experiments on innocent humans, which im sure was all funded by TIM.

I'm unsure about killing or torturing Timmy yet, but my Shepard would take serious pleasure in wiping the floor with Kai Leng's mouth.

I would rather dissect him. Not for science, just to see what Shepard probably looks like inside...

As for The Illusive man, a quick death is all I want. No pain, no hate, but certainly no mercy.

I would actually prefer it if Shepard took over Cerberus.

Riiiight "Cerberus" the real enemy in the mass effect series. Forget about the imminent arrival of a fleet of super AIs coming to harvest all life in the galaxy, we have to torture the people who make us question our morality...

The TIM and Cerberus hate is so irrational and over the top you'd think they were worse than the Reapers.

it's not revenge, Its avenging the death of Kohoku, the poor souls on the Idenna, the soldiers sacrificed for science to observe thresher maws, the intentional dumping of element zero on children and the subsequent kidnap of survivors, the Turians who valiantly gave their lives stoping Cerberus, the intentional indoctrination of Paul Grayson and the subsequent deaths that follow, the torture of Jack and her fellow kids to "unlock potential", and countless other heinous acts that give all humans a terrible name, #$#$ CERBERUS,

Avengeing someone is taking revenge on behalf of that person.

Makes all the difference in the world, letting people do whatever they want, knowing there will be no retalition, is a terrible, terrible thing.

I'm not the biggest fan of Cerberus, but my Shepard has one goal: stop the Reapers. He's willing to do whatever it takes to do that. Cerberus is the only group doing anything about it. Anderson's words of encouragement are lovely, but words do little to postpone the apocalypse, so yeah, I'm supporting Cerberus for now.

As Cerberus blows a hole in Shepard's side his dieing words are "...I always loved you TIM...."

-slight parody for how ridiculous Cerberus fans are in face of facts-

And any Cerberus agent that tries to kill me in 3 will have the same degree of success anybody who tried to kill me in 1 or 2 did. Not because I hate them or think they deserve to die, but because dying would be extremely detrimental to Shepard's goal. Torturing any operative or the Illusive Man himself is pointless, petty, and a waste of limited time.

Because as far as ME1&2 go (have to wait for ME3) TIM is the enemy of my enemy.  That doesn't make him a friend but it means we have compatible goals (defeat the enemy) for the time being.  Attacking or antagonizing him gains nothing but to make him your enemy.  For the moment TIM and I are tied to the same boulder and working together we can move forward.  If I find he's trying to pull in a direction I don't agree with I'll cut him loose, but other than that I'll leave him be.  As long as TIM remains the enemy of my enemy he's more valuable alive than dead.

He's a patriot and recognizes the threat's lined up against humanity. Whatever his reasons for turning on Shepard in ME3 I'm sure they're good ones.

This topic is so entertaining:lol:. People's reactions here are priceless. Nonetheless, people here are calling me a paragon. I'm not saying that you are wrong but I think you need to look at the morality of my main Shepard. He started out with +190 Paragon +52 Renegade.

Doesn't matter what your Shepard's game score is. You're a true Paragon at heart. Anyone who will kill and torture for morality reasons is a Paragon. Anyone who will kill and torture because there's no other way to reach his goal is a Renegade. Renegades do evil because it's necessary. Paragons do evil because it pleases them.

So let me get this straight are you saying that there is idealism in some of the renegade actions? (I'm not saying your right or wrong)

Idealism lies in the player, not the actions themselves

Ya know most people feel that way about their favourite characters, right?

Random dude: I hate this guy.

Fan of 'this guy': *Gets red in the face* Ugh omg so much hate for this character ugh!

YET NOBODY ACTUALLY HATES THE REAPERS.

Where did this crazy level of hate of TIM come from? You want to kill him, fine, but torture-porn? You paragons are into some freaky stuff.

Blame that on Hostel. If the opportunity exists, then my renegade Shepard will probably do it.

It's true, people are non-emotional about the Reapers like they're discussing a tornado or an earthquake.

I can't say I hate them, since they're basically cold non feeling machines, waste of energy and brain cells, probably the only thing Aria and I agree on is that hating is a waste of time.

Actually the only thing I think I can even come close to hating, well more like despising in an eye roll kind of way (I like virtually all characters) is the Asari race, because when you think about it they're the space elves of mass effect, to me anyway.

Players have not interacted in a personal way that they would develop that type of emotional reaction to the Reapers. Players have had to deal with TIM & Saren mostly. So far the Reapers have been like a tornado, a force of nature rather then an enemy with personality that we can hate.

Can't you see? We need to help the Reapers and we will all be spared, just like... no wait, well they were semi-alive right?
