Cerberus isn't a terrorist organization but more akin to the CIA or a black ops organization that I bet multiple species in Mass Effect have. Hell the Spectres likely have much much much bigger body count then Cerberus will ever have. The Salarian STG definitely does because of the Genophage.

The main difference between them and other black ops groups is that Cerberus isn't backed by any government.

There is also the fact that all of those groups have something called oversite that keps them from getting too out of hand. Cerberus doesn't.

Yeah Spectres have very very good oversight.
Still I get what your saying but my whole point was that it really isn't a terrorist group. Its pretty out of hand but to be honest if there is a threat to humanity they will deal with it faster then most groups would.

They aren't the best they really need some damn oversight but they have their uses. Personally I think ME3 will deal with part of Cerberus hunting down Shepard. The Illusive isn't stupid enough to go after Shepard and I doubt Bioware will do a cop out like Indoctrination. If the Illusive Man had resisted its affects for so long he wouldn't be indoctrinated now.

You can't torture anyone in Black Ops. But, a couple of your buddies get tortured.

I think that Krogan Battlemaster for Grunt's recruit mission had the right idea, I suggest we ignore TIM.
After locking him away in the deepest, darkest hole the galaxy can offer of course.

Torture would be kind of pointless, the higher ups don't tell the grunts where the super secret base with their doomsday weapon is being built.

Most of the default attacks in ME2 are pretty horrific; Flame thrower burning someone to death, Singularity/Warp combo, Incinerate also burning to death, head-shot by an anti-material rifle, frozen and shattered, Particle beam (collector heavy weap) stripping the atoms away, Incendiary grenade also burning to death, Lift/Push combo, Cryo/Incendiary ammo mods, compressed and violently exploded by the Singularity gun.

No need for tying someone to a chair and sticking white hot needles in to their knees when we have all that available.

You stick glass in someone's mouth and punch them in the jaw.

You wouldn't call that torture?

Plus, there IS torture in the game. Maybe you're not the one doing it, but it's there.

That's one scripted cut scene, hardly qualifying if you consider the other things that happen that you aren't in control of - the Russian Roulette scene, for instance? The point is, interactive torture minigames on the level that the OP is suggesting for TIM are not existent. God Of War 3 would be a far better suggestion.

I don't know. I'm kind of enticing the idea of a demonstration of Hanar water torture by Blasto.

I love this right here!

I don't want to torture them or anything, simple bullet between the eyes works fine for me.

I think some of you are being a little hard on Ole Timmy. Have you checked out his Dosi, in the SB Base? The boy has been taggin' everything across the Galaxy, on a reg basis, from Matriarchs to twins to Fornax centerfolds. The later kinda creeps me out. It screams Hanar. Poor Shep is stuck with 1 or 2 maybe, and a cold shower ( Samara ).

All the TIM hate stems from envy and jealousy of his legendary mackin' skills.

Judge me if you will, but the Asari in that pic looks exceptionall ****able to me. Image IPB

But they ARE both IN Black Ops, which was more or less the point/joke I was trying to make.
I just don't think this kind of thing is necessary in ME. Especially along the lines of vengeful torture.
