Hello, I'm hoping desperately that SOMEONE out there can help me with this problem.
I bought Mass Effect 2 some time ago off of Steam. No problems, came with the CD Key and the Cerberus Network key, played through the game, bought DLCs no problems at all.
Recently however I was forced to format my computer, so everything got wiped. I decided I wanted to play through ME2 again, as it is one of my all time favorite games. This time however, when I try to login to the Cerberus network, I put in my login e-mail and password, and then it asks for my Cerberus Network key. Simple enough, I get the key from steam, same way I did before, only this time when I put it in it says: Error. Cerberus Key already in use.
I tried to do some research on this problem and found some forum posts with people saying that this error didn't matter, that the DLCs were tied to your game, not the Cerberus network account or whatever. So I decided to give it a try, and went to the Bioware Social Network page to try and download some DLCs. Had no trouble logging into the social network from my browser, and downloaded the DLC without problem.
The problem came when I installed the DLC, and launched the game, I get an error message right away that says Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Cerberus Network with the account used to purchase the DLC. The problem is of course, it won't let me... And I have no idea what to do.
I've read on a couple of sites that disabling the Auto login to EA option could fix it, and I've tried that but to no avail.
PLEASE someone help me. I love this game, and I love the DLCs. I already paid for them once, I shouldn't have to do so again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again in advance.

I have almost this kind of problem, but I bought my game today, and I wanted to activate my cerberus network but my code doen't work. It says it not correct, or in use. Pls help me

EA support are the only ones who can help with these sorts of problems. These forums are for user to user support, and we dont have any control over account issues.

Anyone know how to get in contact with EA support? I've experienced the same issue recently and haven't found a solution aside from purchasing a new cerberus key. Thanks.

Just go to the EA support website. I recommend using the live chat option to immediately resolve your problem. My game never even came with a Cerberus code and support kindly activated it for me, but I had to download the DLC stuff that comes with it from my account afterwards.
