I've been playing the games since day 1, and when I was playing my 4th playthrough I tripped the cord and got the "ring" on the disc, and it no longer loads now. Having tried all the methods saving it by buffing the disc, still no luck. And no more Collecor Edition can be found anywhere.

Got suggestion to buy the regular version and play with it as there is no difference as for the contents. But my question is if I've been playing the CE game, and in the middle of the playthrough, when I now load the regular disc in, will it recognize all the CE contents, especially the Cerburus network as I don't see it as PURCHASED on the marketplace list.

Anyone has similar experience loading a regular edition disc to a game in progress (from the Collector Edition game) ?

I don't think the disc itself checks to see what edition you are using. The codes and Cerberus Network are linked to your EA account; and it is with verification with the EA servers that determines your access to your items. I believe it makes no difference.

Redeemed items (in any game) do not show up as purchased on the XBox Live Marketplace because you didn't purchase them. To re-download previously redeemed items check my guide here should you need to, but I do not think you will need to.

I am of the opinion (others may correct me) that there aren't any material difference between the discs of the Collectors' edition and the normal edition, so should you purchase a normal copy of the game it should slot in seamlessly so to speak.
