See menu Games in the above bar? Hover over it, then hover over Dragon Age 2 and then click on patches.
Or you could just  go to the below link:

OK I give up. I was so anxious to play it again as a mage this time, however, whatever save I use the import flags are still wrong. I shouldn't had such high hopes in the 1st place.

You have to start a new game for it to work.

You're talking about the 4 different save files I used just now or starting Origins over again? The 2nd ain't gonna happen.

I even tried to use save generator but it was much worse then.

Start a new game in DA2 and import your save.
Also it didn't fix everything for me; though that could very well be due to the mods I had installed in DA:O at the time. This mod fixed things more for me.

Mind you, some things will always be broken though; for example anyone you left behind in Vigil's Keep in Awakening's endgame will be considered dead. That's a bug in DA:O's export and can't be fixed in DA2.

Well... tell that to Anders... he certainly seems quite healthy :P

Well, Anders is a man of many talents. For instance in my save he somehow managed the feat of meeting Justice, even though I had him dragged away by Rylock to who knows where and Justice died returned to the fade while defending Vigil's Keep.
But that's neither here nor there. Get your Patch 1.03 here people! Get it while its bytes are still hot!

I was sarcastic... doh.

The mod you gave in that link doesn't work anymore. While 1.03 fixed Nathaniel import bug, this mod breaks it again.

My biggest grudge is that I had friendship with Leliana only at ~60% but this game still thinks my Warden romanced her, not Morrigan like he did.

This is just screw up to much. The way I see it now, the only way to fix it is to release an official Save Game Generator.

Anyway, I won't lie. I'm disappointed. A lot. I feel think the best word to express my feelings now is... "cheated".

PS. I know that LB said that this patch won't fix everyones problems.
Thing is. This shouldn't have happened in the 1st place.

Yay for the Patch. The Patch Notes looks SWEET.

Now....I wonder, will keeping the Import fix Mod screw things up?

Oh and....a detailed list of which import bugs were/were not fixed would be appreciated.

Just fired up another game....the combat is everything it should be now IMHO. (And Ability Mods still work too. *Impressed*)

Yea Nathaniel was fixed but my Morrigan relationship is still messed up.

Cool...

So the Morrigan romance import is still borked? Hell, it just wouldn't be Dragon Age if there wasn't a screwed up Morrigan bug!:pinched:

"Sigh."

I realize that maybe I shouldn't repeat myself, but I honestly can't remember being this irritated when trying to play a game. After three patches, the DLC content is apparently still borked, and I doubt that there was even an attempt made to fix the repeated crashing issues that occur whenever I try and access it.

Granted, I've successfully completed Sebastian's quest in Act 2 on three other characters, but even then, it was hit and miss. After repeated attempts, I would finally be able to get into the Harriman estate. Once inside, I would progress to the final battle, but after having so many problems trying to enter in the first place, I would crash back to the desktop whenever I would try to go back upstairs for the final conversation with Flora. I delayed running this quest on my newest character, a DW Assassin rogue, because I thought that after three patches, and a waiting period of several weeks for this latest one, that the problem would be fixed.

Well, apparently, that's not the case. I installed patch 1.03 shortly after it went live, and tried to run this quest immediately afterwards. And I have yet to even successfully get into the estate. Every single time I've crashed back to my desktop, and I also crashed once or twice trying to get into the Black Emporium to buy the physical technique elixir.

I apologize if it sounds like I'm ranting, and I don't underestimate the amount of time and effort that goes into finding and fixing various bugs and problems within any game, but at the same time, this is highly irritating, especially since I've spent 60 plus dollars for both the original game and the DLC content itself. Be that as it may, I also expect to be able to play the game and access whatever add on content that's made for it on at least a somewhat reliable basis. That hasn't been the case in this instance, because as I've said, more often than not, on previous playthroughs, I would crash back to my desktop when trying to complete this quest, or once inside, switch the difficulty to casual and keep the conversations to the bare minimum so I'd be able to get in and out quickly. And today, after waiting for several weeks for this latest patch to go live, I haven't been able to gain access at all.

Now, with all that being said, I'll ask: how much longer now will we have to wait until this problem is finally fixed?

Don't mean to sound rude or anything, and you have most likely tried this, but have you done a full unistall, file sweep, and reinstalled?  I had an issue similar to this before but reinstalled and everything is fine again (however this does entail restarting a Hawke and I know not everyone is willing to do that)

Still no audio here, after a second run. The audio seems to work randomly but in the majority of cases, after the Bioware video (with sound), the game doesn't emit any audio.
It makes me really sad I still can't play this game with a modern system. I have already posted a dxdiag dump. What should I do? Put the game in the trash can? I repost it in with confidence someone will read (and hopefully fix the game):

The motherboard is an Asus P8P67 Deluxe with onboard Realtek Audio controller. This audio chip works flawlessly with every game I own (more than 40 games) except with Dragon Age II.

Don't mean to sound rude or anything, and you have most likely tried this, but have you done a full unistall, file sweep, and reinstalled?  I had an issue similar to this before but reinstalled and everything is fine again (however this does entail restarting a Hawke and I know not everyone is willing to do that)

When 1.02 initially came out, I completely uninstalled the game, including the DLC content, and reinstalled everything, and have started out with completely new characters since then. My mage was around level 13 or so when I did this, yet I deleted him and started over from scratch, so as you can imagine, it was a painful and time consuming thing to do. All characters that I've played since have had issues when trying to run that quest, as I elaborated on in my previous post.

Im not sure why people are having issues, my pc basically quit and i bought a custom, budget build that i can upgrade myself over time and the patches etc have caused no problems. The game does crash now and again but its not a major problem most games do that from time to time. My advice is to contact a place that solely makes custom builds, not the big stores, ask their advice and tell them your a gamer lol. Its simply another way to rule out problems.

Oh and....a detailed list of which import bugs were/were not fixed would be appreciated.

Yeah, this.

YES PLEASE!

Also requesting a much more detailed fix list.  "various minor plots" and "actions from Origins reflected more accurately" doesn't quite cut it for me.  Is Ander's rivalry ending triggering properly? Are romance imports working properly from Awakenings/WH/GoA? Have the dialog bugs that were in the romanced cameos for Zevran and Allistair fixed? Does Nathaniel remember killing the Architect now? Do those fixes require a new game? They may seem minor, but my enjoyment of this game is borderline enough that those things actually make a difference as to whether I will bother to play it again.

This patch messed up my video - I now have dark, unusable video upon launch of the game. Didn't have that problem with 1.02. Takes forever for the load game menu to actually load, and the loaded game is dark graphics and unplayable. I have changed nothing in my video setup to lay this at the feat of my video cards - this has to be the patch doing this, and it's a touch frustrating. Fixing game play bugs isn't helpful if I can't see anything to play.

Anyone else seeing dark video? I even see it during the blood dragon flyby - the graphic is noticeably darker than under 1.02. I used the configuration utility to drop from DX 11 to DX 9 - still dark.

I think this is what we call a PITA ;_;

Edit: Turns out this was a known issue in 1.02 with gamma setting and full screen. Weird that I never saw it with my setup (2 X XFX nVidia 9800 GT in SLi). The workaround found in the forums fixed it, but I find it odd that an issue that wasn't a problem for me in 1.02 is not a problem in 1.03 - especially since 1.03 was supposed to fix it. Ah well.

Game seems to run much better on DX 11 for me (using 275.33 WHQL) however it was running ok before so wasn't too dire there. Combat is soo much nicer without everyone blowing up all over the place, and having it slower paced is a big bonus too....great work BW!

To amend this a bit, DX 11 does not run really well on very high.  To get very high to run decently I need to turn off AA (looks like crap) and shadows go all wonky (or dissapear completely)  However I can run DX 11 High with 16x AF and 8 AA smoothly with no graphical glitches what so ever (and in my opinion still looks just as good if not better than V.High when V.High works correctly)

Specs:
Q6600 @ 2.80 (stock 2.4)
4 gig DDR2 @ 940mhz (stock 667)
GTX460 768MB 790/1580/2000 (stock 727/1455/1800)
Win 7 64 Bit SP1

Combat is MUCH improved.  I feel like I want to fight more enemies now, rather than finding fighting a chore.

I can't comment on the import issues as I never fully beat DA:O.  I did use an imported save but used a save generator to pick the areas I know I completed and faked the rest. (not sure if the generator would cause import issues)

So far have played with the 1.03 patch for 3 hours and no crashes (new Hawke save)

Can anyone confirm if you can now convince Anders to side with the Templars at the end game or would this be something that can only be 'fixed' when starting and completing a new game?

If you have an nVidia card, the newest beta driver seems to be the problem for some people, though it's not clear in the thread if this is an issue with 1.03 or 1.02.  The thread is here.

As I have been informed: it will work as long as you load from any time before starting the Justice quest (his act 3 quest)

If you really loved Anders, you would side with him and join the mages.
