Install error (PC, purchased via EA, updated through1.02 without problem): Dragon Age II Not Found.

I previously experienced installation errors with the graphics patch and had to change the region and language before it would work; subsequent DLC and patches installed without a problem. Such is not the case this time. Any suggestions?

[edit] Going to respond to my own inquiry: EADM includes ™ in the install path. See this helpful post (now sadly buried in the forum) from shunjie via lamaslany should you also be experiencing this problem.

Finally, and I mean that in a very positive friendly way. ;)

If it's not too much to ask though, I'd also like to request a more detailed list of Origins import fixes.

- The game now runs correctly for Windows administrator accounts that were receiving errors about insufficient privileges.

Confirmed this has been fixed in WinXP.

Hopefully any new players won't face the same frustrations as the early birds and pre-order crowd.

I'd asked how it was fixed, but I probably wouldn't understand the answer. >.<

Wow, that's one impressive fix list!

Glad to hear about the combat-music levels, that was so annoying. Also about all the quest fixes, especially The Last Straw. And fewer exploding enemies? Yay!

Gonna play again. :)

So far the only bug I have come across is the templars not being equipped with bows in the Dissent quest.

Image IPB

It loaded smoothly and I experienced no crashes. :D

I really appreciate the changes and thanks for making the exploding bodies more random. :wizard:

Why eyes of darkspawn have white-silver color? This is a fix or bug of the patch?

Can anyone confirm if you can now convince Anders to side with the Templars at the end game or would this be something that can only be 'fixed' when starting and completing a new game?

As I have been informed: it will work as long as you load from any time before starting the Justice quest (his act 3 quest)

Thank you very much. B)

Any paticular reason this isn't posted in the announcements section?

Maybe I misunderstood the patch notes but I thought Dog was supposed to stay with you and not go poof after an area transition any more?

I've had the same issue without the patch.  Maybe the templars are suffering from lyrium withdrawal and only think they're firing weapons?  :P

The other curious part was the "pew pew" sounds the Templar was making....Image IPB

Just started two new games and looked through the vault. Morrigan romance flags did not work at all, and for Leliana it wrote that i did romanced her, but did not make love to her ("player did not make love to Leliana"), which i know i did.

What in DA2 shows up if you had a Morrigan romance?

Everything seems fine for me, but before I start anew, I do have a question about imports. I gather we can & should import from Awakening, if we want to see Nathaniel. (and I do!) Is there any reason to import from a later DLC, such as Witch Hunt? I believe I was told that nothing related to WH shows up here, but *might* later. (As well, from this topic, I gather we should remove the import fix mod some of us were using?)

Can anyone confirm whether or not Zevran realizes his particular Warden remains living, & that he's back to his surprisingly faithful self now?

Also - thank you for what looks to be a very intensive patch.  My mage looks forward to casting killer fireballs, but she will always prefer the graphic-goodness of frost.

"If Bethany or Carver rejoin the party near the end of the game, they now learn the Force Mage and Templar specializations, respectively."

If Bethany or Carver have full friendship/rivalry with Hawk, will they reseive specialization spell like "Eye to Eye" or "No Compromises" by Anders?

I'm still having some issues as follows:

DirectX11 looks great, however there is a huge delay in loading the game from desktop (minutes long wait). When I drop it to DirectX9 is loads perfectly.

Enemies move at a very slow pace. It's almost comical watching them move as though on grease.

For a brief moment while outside Lothering, the words spoken by the characters did not sync up with the lip movement. And, my mage's spells did not highlight for use during battle.

During Act I: Varric's 1st banter (after just gaining him for the group) has no VO. And the first few lines when your PC is speaking with companions still don't fire. It goes directly to the dialogue wheel.

Hi !

During my playthrough, I encountered a bug which I thought was known, but no one seems to mention it.
It's minor, but it becomes quite annoying in big brawls... Am I the only one to experience it ?

It occurs when I pause the game to give orders to each character : often some switch their target to another one from a fellow party member... Yesterday I found a way to reproduce it : in a fight, I gave an order to all the member at once (attacking an ogre in front), then selected Aveline to tell her to attack some darkspawn in the back and finally told each one which ability to use. When I un-paused, everyone attacked the darkspawn behind...

I thought it was a known bug because (french) testers pointed it out in this video (around 6:30)...
I should have come here sooner to check all the messages, but, well... As I said, I thought it was known...

No. Their spec trees are more (and by more I mean exactly) like Hawke's not like the other companions.

That's a good question, I'm having that happen too.

With Patch 1.03 and an already existing savegame, the game doesn't recognise Leliana and Morrigan romances from Origins. I haven't tried it with a new game, though. I am keeping the Import fixes mod installed by now.

Anyway, thanks for releasing this patch ;)

The game still crushes during cutscene after killing Desire Demon in Sebastian's Act 2 quest.

Any chance to fix this soon?

Thank you.
